I thought I'd start a thread for us Southerners to talk and make plans to meet up. Maybe some of us would like to have a get together sometime, Southern style.

I can make some mean BBQ. LOL.

Well hello there!

It's such a pleasant surprise to meet up with some good Southern folk. I can make one heck of a chili that'll knock your socks off. lol Where in Mississippi are you? My mother lived in Gulfport for a time before she married my father.

Always good to converse with other Southern folk. I just made some chili--wasn't my best--but it was damn good. Maybe I could get some of yours sometime.

My southern food and my BBQ are truly special... Yummy.

I'm a couple hours north of Gulfport, but I grew up down on the coast.
