Wanted to start a thread where us southerners could hang out and chat. Consider this thread to be the Waffle House of Lit.

No grits??? Now I myself dont care much for grits, but whats a southern breakfast without grits. Thats like Kool-Aid without sugar or P&J without the jelly.

I'll tell ya what we need is a good old fashion Juke box. Playing a little Hank Williams, the thought just feels right . Lazy summer in the south, fans slowly turning in the dinner, sunlight filtering in through the blinds, old Hank sining away, man if that aint a deep south scene what is.

Oh forgot, a waitress wearing an outfit one size to small with alot of cleavage showing, smacking on gum. Seeing How GG and Red both have a nice set to show off I sugest they walk around topless serving the costumers.

Then your from WAYDOWN south. Grits are made from corn. That's all I know. But there reall good nd there pretty good for ya. If you don't load them down with butter, but no body eats'm plane round here.

Huskie, might also add that Instant grits is not grits. Real grits take 15-20 min's to cook.

Uncle Ben might know Rice, but he he don't know Grit !

That sucks they replaced a Waffle House with a Ihop, it's just not the same. Truth is Waffle House is only in the south, I have my own Waffle House map, witch are available at any Waffle House free of charge. As far North they go is like Richmond Va, maybe MD border.

Might also add another favorite Southern treat, Dairy Queen !!

HELL YES ON THE DAIRY QUEEN!!!!!! I just got a hot fudge sunday from one right here in town,,,,, just 15 min ago!!! BUT!! this F%$# store does NOT sale the Brazer Burgers????
