man i lived in hawaii for years i loved it there and if i could afford to return i would i found that once you know the right places to shop and what streets to drive on its like any other place just nice ass weather year round. dunno which island you were on but i lived on oahu in downtown honolulu and i loved it. but i guess its not for everyone
