Watched this last night on the news as thousands of angry black South Africans literally picked clean a huge mall and other malls all over the country. Armed citizens shooting one after another had no effect. Must have seen some BLM videos from the U.S. You could see looters driving forklifts down the highways with skids of stolen merchandise. in a complete collapse of social order. None understanding that when it's gone, it's gone.

Thousands of looters descended onto Mams Mall on Monday night, outnumbering and overpowering police and private security who watched helplessly as dozens of shops were cleaned out.

The widespread looting and destruction of property that has been witnessed in KwaZulu-Natal, Johannesburg and Ekurhuleni, spilt over into Tshwane on Monday evening.

Mams Mall in Mamelodi was gutted during the evening. By Tuesday morning, the mall resembled a waste landscape as shop owners and employees tried to make sense of what happened.

Liquor bottles, clothing, rubber bullets and live annunciation cartridges were strewn across the parking lot.

But you're not a racist because you have black friends, right?

This isn't political, I'm moving this to the proper board. :)

Nothing in your link says anything about it being political. Care to try again?

If you have an IQ greater than room temperature, it goes without saying. Any widespread attack on the social order, which this is, and replied to with the political action of the nation's leaders, is Ipso facto, political.

That's a lot of words just to apologize to me.

It doesn't work that way. We had a lot of rioting in the '60s and '70s, but order came back.

Because we are a much greater and more fortunate country deep in resources and infrastructure. When will Portland, Minneapolis, Seattle, and New York, come back?

From all I hear, those cities are orderly enough now.

That kind of rioter does not bring a forklift.

Different circumstances and availability. If you break into a home depot like business, you might have a forklift ready to steal. In a grocery store you might only be able to get your hands on a shopping cart.

Maybe but thousands of businesses aren't coming back. So yes, they may be peace and order on a boarded up street.

Thousands of businesses were not destroyed by BLM, liar. That's just ridiculous. Now, since the BLM riots and looting happened during Covid, that would lend credence to your asinine claim but you're still lying.
