Source for old porn

Does anyone know a source for those old porn books, the ones with title-only covers or covers with the title and line drawings? They had goofy titles such as "Little Sister's Secret" and like that.

Do a search on Tijuana Bibles. You will find plenty of real ones, some reproductions and lots of reprints in book form.

I remember they were published in the Sixties by Fabian and Saber, but I doubt those two companies are still in business. This was not true porn like we write here, but described sex acts in a cleaned-up manner. They used to refer to the man's "Proud young manhood" quite often.

ETA: You might be able to find them through this site or others like it, although I don't know why anybody would want to.

My bottom drawer?

There used to be a bookshop in my town universally known as "The Dirty Bookshop". It stocked porn magazines and books, including some titles devoted to obscure fetishes.

It was apparently selling books and magazines that were legal in the UK, but it was rumoured that if you knew the secret password you could be admitted to the back room where more hard core publications were kept.

I, as a secondhand bookdealer, used to visit it frequently because the owner often acquired job lots of books and wasn't interested in anything that wasn't about sex. I bought some good stock from him (and exchanged with him any of my stock that was more appropriate to his shop).

It didn't survive long. The customers were ashamed to be seen going in.
