Good news. Your story/series/novel has just made it big! Netflix is making it into an original series.

They need a sound track, so post some you tube videos of songs you feel would work perfectly for the network version of your work.

Ummm, wouldn't it be better to post the song AND the story you're referring to? ;)

People can do that if they choose.

I won't do it for my first post because the series that gave me this idea isn't on here. What became book one of the series was once on here for a Halloween entry back in 2015, but I pulled it the following year.

But if I post anything for a series here I'll add the link(so it can get trolled:eek:)

I doubt it would actually work for real in a movie/series, and this story isn't a perfect example because this is only where he begins to snap, but this has always been Zoraster's "theme song"

Ebon Genesis

An insane Archmage who's subject to fits of murderous rage when triggered just fits with "If the man with the power can't keep it under control some heads are gonna roll."

Wow, did that take me out of my comfort zone or not!!!

Enjoyed the music and the story. It's far from my everyday diet, but for a change of pace, Holy SHIT!

Dark, dirty and gritty! I admire authors/people who are able to touch their emotional side, especially if they can put them down on paper. It's a skill I lack in writing.

Well done!

I highly approve of this list....Warren Zevon is one of the best concerts I ever saw. I was twenty and didn't know his music, but the girl I was seeing wanted to go so I grabbed tickets, amazing performer especially in a small setting.

Never got the chance, much as with many others. I’m just damned glad we have so many recorded works available!

You guys are so dramatic. My next story is a first-time, and I'm thinking maybe a guy with a ukelele accompanied by a girl with a snare drum, or maybe this

I reckon I've got more Doors references than any other band - even down to a story title taken from one of their songs. Followed by Leonard Cohen references and, when I'm taking the piss, Jeff Buckley (just to annoy Jason Clearwater).

The second part of my angels and astronauts geek thing from a couple of years ago has its AI in the shape of an iPod called James. I'm afraid I will over indulge the corny sound-track references, but when you're stuck on Titan, what are you going to do? It'll be better than the captain's playlist from The Martian though ;).

For my WIP-fourth book in the Abigail series which features a fire controlling witch who owns a popular multi level club and sings.

This is probably going to be the opening song. Burn goes back to the late sixties I believe, but this is the best version I've heard and the video is even more suited to the story

I’ll chime in with, please name the songs too? I’d like to tell you that I’ll click on each and every link, but I won’t

I’ll write a future story about being smitten by a girl named melody. And Robert plant, “in the mood”, a great song, and the lyric is actually “I’m in the mood for a melody, I’m in the mood for a melody, I’m in the mood”, combined with all time great and infectiously catchy bass riffs.

Well then....a bad ass woman, lot of tats hot, mean looking, driving a fast old muscle type car....then she brings out the bottle of Jack...

I may have a new crush.
I thought you might. The music's nice and gritty too. Sort of cross between Z.Z**** and shades of early Blue Oyster Cult. One of those bands where you can spot what was in their parent's record collection ;).
