But I was just wondering what time deadlines fall for holiday contests. Like, is it midnight Pacific Time? Is it already too late to submit a story to the Valentine's Day contest at 10:46 pm Central Time?

Thank you! :)

Don't know the answer to your question, but submit first, ask later. It might go up even if it's a bit late.

I'm still adding some touches to it. *sigh* That's why I was hoping for Midnight Pacific Time. lol

To be safe, it needs to be submitted 48 hours before the end date so 3rd Feb for 5th Feb ending.

Even then it is a nail-biting time until the story is posted.

There is an advantage for us on this side of the Atlantic. Our midnight is long before yours so we have some leeway.

Well, I didn't plan to procrastinate. With work, and trying to get a "New Years Eve" story out for the heck of it, I kind of put the V-Day story on the back burner. And then yesterday I noticed yesterday was the last day for the contest! D'oh!

Even if I missed the contest I'll have a Valentine story out there soon. :)

Here are the dates for all the contests this year. Start thinking about them now, please, if you are going to submit in time.

This list comes from the sticky 'Authors Please Read' at the top of the AH
