Were you all good boys and girls? Did you get want you wished for...? ;)

Well I may be spending the holidays alone but Santa did pop down my chimney…he did not stay though *pouts* :)

I got plenty to keep me busy. :rose:

IPad 2.

Neon wand.

Membership to the local Gym.

A beautiful hand carved wooden mask for my collection.

A deep red leather lighting fixture, from which is hanging a wooden wind chime with a hand carved dragon sitting on it, from Morocco.

I got some money too with which I bought gifts for my Aquarium, a fluvial 405 filter and a new lighting hood as both went kaput Christmas Eve.

Plus odds and ends in my stocking and some apps and an iTunes music card.

Oh and an i.o.u. for some Chanel perfume in the New Year .

*giggles* Now what did you get Britwitch? :rose:

All very nice :)

I got some new clothes including a gorgeous red duffel coat that I have wanted for years. Some money and a voucher for an Indian head massage, the usual candles and chocolates.
And Santa's main present to me and Mr Brit was a very shiny new flat screen TV as ours died a couple of months ago :D

But, as it should be, the person who got the most from Santa was Baby Brit who was swamped with clothes and toys...the favourite of which is her new dolly and pushchair which she is constantly wheeling round the house!

Sounds really wonderful Britwitch you are all blessed indeed.

Especially that Baby Brit is healthy and happy, the best gift of all I would imagine *hugs you tightly* :rose:

My son is off to Italy for a month with his father over Christmas and New Year and so I was left with toys to play with hence the IPad and the wand

*grins* fallout benefits so I wouldn't feel alone. I am not complaining I am usually bottom of any list ... while Kai cleans up :)

I got a houseful of loving, noisy people, all of which were family, who I adore. Good food, children playing with toys, the men stealing the younger one's swords and having sword fights throughout my house. I said more than once yesterday, that I should have bought one for each of them. The men settled down to play Xbox games. (Commentary and name calling ensued then. All in good fun)

I couldn't have asked for more.

I would have happily swapped what you just described for my gifts, in a single heartbeat...no thought required.

You are a very lucky lady indeed.

*hugs you closely* :rose:

An insane dinner at my friends house.

Three new Star Wars books.
The Unofficial Harry Potter Cook Book.
A My Little Pony Coloring an Activity book. [Because my friend D. is wonderfully weird]
an Glucose level of 193. :D .. it was worth it, such good food.

it at 86 now.

Sounds divine!
I was lucky enough to have my parents and little brother make it over here for the festive season, doting on Baby Brit and spoiling us rotten with many a delicious surprise from the UK...having a noisy, slightly crazy, houseful - Love it!

Cheska! 86 is too low, missy! Go eat something, woman. And here I worry when my blood sugar is 130.

*wonders what a Harry Potter Cookbook contains*

So do I. It's nice to have peace and quiet again, but I look forward to the next get together.

I am. :) *hugs her tightly* :rose:

I have wonderful family members. Well, those I hold close, that is.

Of course the little one made out this year, as he does every year ;)

Mommy Zy got some DVDs, a Kindle Fire, some more pens (cause I
love pens), socks (fuzzzzzzy socks...so warm...) and a diamond pendant from Daddy Zy :)

86 is ok, below that and I worry an I am eating left over turkey, pork loin an mashed taters now. :D

Hm, nice sheets. Restaurant gift cards. A new wallet.

More than anything though I've been relishing my time off. I just got some backpay too so maybe I'll get something for myself.

And I do my best to behave, but somehow I doubt I managed the nice list this year.

Nothing sadly, I'm usually the one who gives presents not receiving them.

Since I traveled to visit Mom and Dad for some much needed time off, I exchanged gifts with my Sister and her family early this year. She got me a new gun cabinet, two seasons of CSI on DVD, a DVD of Celtic Woman Christmas special, a Rascal Flatts CD, pens, a couple gift cards, a calendar for 2012, and of course some candy (Mint White/Dark Chocolate Dove Promises)

As Brit said earlier, as it should be it's about the kids first. And all of them did very well considering we were on a budget. But Santa was very good to the youngest as too were his grandparents, and the two older ones fared very well with the gifts from us and family.

For my part, I got what I had hoped and had hinted for from my husband. A pair of small matching wooden chests with leather straps, much like miniature treasure chests. I saw them down the town weeks ago and was afraid they'd be sold, but my husband acted quickly unknown to me. They were relatively inexpensive, but despite that, beautiful and really old looking. One will now house my favorite dvds and books in our bedroom, and the other will sit on my dressing table keeping my make up in order. Some of which is new also and from my mother with my yearly bottle of what ever perfume I want, but wont buy for myself.

My kiddles woke me at 6 am with a SCREAM. Downstairs neighbor told me later he thought Santa forgot us with as loud as they were.
Nope!

Batman video game for me, a butterfly necklace to remember my gram... And some monies.
