SOOOO????? How did Colby the Kitty's Vet apointment go?????

Ooh ooh! How did I miss this thread before?!
It went super well...He weighed 300 grams when we first brought him in, but when they weighed him on Thursday he weighed 430 grams! That's a huge difference! Hs ribs don't stick out anymore...he's a rolypoly healthy kitty! (he's sitting in my lap right now...now he's climbedup my shirt to my & he's nuzzling my neck..oh, purr purr! what a happy lil guy...) We're still working on the litter training, but he's graduated to solid food. Since yesterday he's been eating dry kibble in addition to the tasty wet stuff.
I get to keep him for one more week. Friday I give him up to his new adoptive mommy, who has an adult male cat. Colby's really friendly, so I'm sure he and the other kitty will get along fine. Aiko, on the other hand, is being a big butt. She refuses to be nice to Colby. Brat!

I am soooooo glad to hear he has fattened up and is doing great.
He will make a wonderful pet to his lucky, new mommy!
I am jealous, but I am not allowed to have any more kitties.
Mr. G.R. told me he'd move out into the back yard, in a tent, if I brought anymore home. Hum??? I wonder if he'd still come in for a romp, now and again. This deal could just work out!
And Yes, Cheyenne is right about Aiko. She isn't going to let her mommy slip away to some silly kitten, without a complaint here or there. She'll be relieved when Colby goes to his new family, but untill then, TOUGH! Though, She will love you more now, that her position as Queen has been threatend by Prince cutie butt. That, at least, is a good thing.
