I've recently started watching this and am currently on season 3. So I'm watching an episode about Peg Bundy needing to get rid of a body. They hire a "cleaner" and who the fuck shows up? Stephen King. Fittingly creepy, too.

I just started watching also and my last episode was with the Cleaner. He's so fucking ugly. Always has been though.

Okay I choked up when she had to take Dad to the nursing home. I think her character and acting is great. Tara, on the other hand, I can't stand her.

Gemmas slow move towards religion has been interesting to watch.

I can't stand Jax and I despise almost all of the music for some reason.

It's a good show but in my opinion falls short of great. It's no Breaking Bad or Walking Dead.

I'll watch for that.

Why am I fascinated with the brooding Opie? It's the beanie, I know it! And I enjoy Tig, because he's such a freak. I'm positive he'd be into the freakiest of fetishes! .

Early on Tig goes on the rant about fucking a dead body that is seriously creepy and funny at the same time. I really enjoy the character because he does shit like that.

I just know he was eyeing the dead Guate chick for some one more time necrofilia action.

The show glorifies violence exquisitely.

It's a friggin drama fest. My suspension of disbelief ended with the constant smooching and fucking going on between SAMCRO the Mayans and the IRA,. Every week these people are fucking each other over and making up...

Not nearly as good as Breaking Bad, but the character arcs are interesting, namely the chronic masturbator, who becomes downright beloved. I want to punch Henry Rollins in the face every time he shows on screen, he's that good. It is a good show. I think Jax is my least favorite character. That guy fucking cannot act. Sometime when he's walking with that lurch down the hallway at the hospital, I yell at the tv. How did he get that role?

Ahahhaaa! I remember that scene. They had just found both women dead under that cellar door of the burned down warehouse?

Them too. This one was the Dads caretaker that died when she and Gemma were fighting over a knife. Stephen King, the Cleaner, shows up to get rid of the body down the drain.

Oh, yeah. Tig got shot by Gemma's dad while fucking her. Those were some good episodes.

I gave this show a chance for three episodes, but at some point I found myself fast forwarding over any scene that didn't involve pool cues or AK-47s. I guess I'm spoiled by the quality level of Sopranos, Breaking Bad and Walking Dead.

I have heard people complain about the music before and just don't get it. What genre of music do you typically listen to?

Opie is by far the most interesting character. The third episode of the newest season is simply intense.

I hate the music, too. The theme song drives me batty. I think because it has that little shiny edge to it that sounds slightly overproduced. It needs to be a little more raw and out of tune. I did like it when the episodes about Belfast had the theme played on bagpipes. That was tolerable.

I enjoy it as good pulp. And it's basically the last entity on Earth that still regards the IRA as a force worth paying attention to, which I find amusing.

There have always been plausibility issues with much of SoA, which you ignore because it's TV and supposed to be entertainment, but for the life of me I can't understand how a dozen or so bikers have now apparently become the biggest criminal kingpins in northern California.

I remember watching the episodes leading up to Belfast and thinking that the IRA must be loving the press, even if it's fictional.

This season, season 5, particularly violent.....

Peg Bundy....I'll never look at her anyway other than Married with Children, but she does a good job in this series

Huh. Maybe they got back on track. I stopped watching when everyone started wearing estrogen patches.
