Here's a whole CD made to strip to:

Rob Zombie: "American Made Music to Strip By"

slow sexy strip....

Paula Cole - Feelin Love

Love, love

You make me feel like a sticky pistil...
leaning into a stamen
You make me feel like a mister sunshine...
Himself
You make me feel like splendor in the grass...
While we're rollin'
Damn skippy baby
You make me feel like the Amazon's runnin' between...
my thighs

CHORUS:

You make me feel love, love, love, love, love
love, love, love, love, love
You make me feel love, love, love, love, love
love, love, love, love

You make me feel like a candy apple
All red and horny
You make me feel like I wanna be a dumb blonde
In a centerfold, the girl next door
And I would open the door and...
I'd be all wet
With my tits soaking through this tiny little t-shirt...
That I'm wearing
And you would open the door and tie...
Me up to the bed

Chorus

Lover, but I don't know who I am
Am I Barry White? Am I Isis? Ohhh...
Lover, I'm laced with your unconscious
Oh baby babe babe baby
I will be your Desdemona ahhhhh...

Take your time

You make me feel Ahaa
You make me feel WooWoo baby
You make me feel Ahaa mmm
You make me feel loved

here i go, dating myself...

strip by adam ant certainly comes to mind.

i would also think that ravel's composition bolero would lend itself really well to this use.

"dream on" - aerosmith (with a wink and a nod to zerimar)

"paradise city" - GNR

this is the same stuff i lift to... i'll never look at dumbells the same way again.

Not sure of the title, but Phil Collins' "Something in the air tonight" (or "hold on?") is great. There's that incredible drum solo toward the end -- bump-bump de-bump de-bump bumb-bump -- that provides the perfect climax point during sex, or at least for removing the goodies during a strip tease.

you're thinking of "in the air tonight".

interesting piece of trivia... that drum solo, perhaps the most well-known of collins' career, wasn't even written by phil. it was actually done by peter gabriel (another drummer and former genesis band-mate). i always find this so fascinating for some reason. and, no, the song had nothing to do with witnessing a drowning and there was never anyone invited to sit in the front row at a concert so phil could sing to him directly, yadda yadda yadda. gotta love music folklore.

For that sleasy seventies style strip.

I love Perfect Circle's "Magdalena"

The song is actually about the ecstacy/sacredness of the erotic dance.

"Overcome by your moving temple
Overcome by this holiest of alters
I'd sell my soul, my self-esteem,
one dollar at a time
for one glance
one kiss
one taste of you, my Magdalena
I feel compelled to throw this dollar down"

Someday I would like to pay a dancer to dance specifically to this song. But in the meantime I can always "living room dance" to it. :)

I'm curious as to where you got this piece of info. I've seen the video for this song from an episode of vh1's "storytellers" series a couple of times and phil tells how the song came about. he seemed to have quite a bit of fun exploding the "drowning" myth, but no mention at all was made of peter gabriel.... at least not that I can remember.

not disputing you.... just curious, like I said.

If you can stand hip hop and rap, any number of 50 cent songs make for good bump'n'grind and stripping songs.

i saw that storytellers episode and enjoyed it. honestly, i can't remember where i heard the thing about peter gabriel... i'm the kinda person that just sucks up information and recalls it on a whim. i'm certain it came from phil collins' mouth but i can't remember where he said it. all i can remember if phil talking about jamming with peter in the studio and it was like the first time they'd been together since peter left genesis... ugh... i'll have to think on it some more.

it's hardly the greatest drum solo ever written, but given how popular it is/was, i have to chuckle to think that phil didn't actually write those few bars himself.

Good song:

Fallin' by Alicia Keys. Not the lyrics but the beat. Very sexy!

That is such an incredibly sexy song!

I also like Sadeness by Enigma

Insatiable ~ Darren Hayes

Madonna ~ Justify my Love

i'm thinking a nice, slow strip to sade's smooth operator wouldn't be bad, either.

Recently i thought "Oh" by Ciara

And the old standard "Cowboy" by Kid Rock--(it's always more fun to be naked with a cowboy hat on ) :cathappy:

I CANNOT believe no one has mentioned this song, yet!!

You Give Me Fever

by Peggy Lee

Never know how much I love you
Never know how much I care
When you put your arms around me
I get a fever that's so hard to bare

You give me fever
When you kiss me
Fever when you hold me tight
Fever
In the mornin'
Fever all through the night

Sun lights up the day time
Moon lights up the night
I light up when you call my name
and you know I'm gonna treat you right

You give me fever
When you kiss me
Fever when you hold me tight
Fever
In the mornin'
Fever all through the night

Everybody's got the fever
That is somethin' you all know
Fever isn't such a new thing
Fever started long ago

Romeo loved Juliet
Juliet she felt the same
When he put his arms around her
He said Julie baby your my flame

Thou giveth fever
When we kisseth
Fever with thy flaming youth
Fever
I'm a fire
Fever yea i burn for sooth

Captain Smith and Pocahontas
Had a very mad affair
When her daddy tried to kill him
She said daddy oh don't you dare

He gives me fever
With his kisses
Fever when he holds me tight
Fever
I'm his missus
Daddy won't you treat him right

Now you've listened to my story
Here's the point that I have made
Chicks were born to give you fever
Be it fahrenheit or centigrade

They give you fever
When you kiss them
Fever if you live you learn
Fever
Till you sizzle
But what a lovely way to burn

What a lovely way to burn
What a lovely way to burn
What a lovely way to burn
