I hear a song in the mall or in my car and it gets stuck for a week or so.
Examples-mostly 80's tunes.
Thomas Dolby-She Blinded Me with Science
Peter Gabriel-Sledgehammer
A-Ha-Take On Me
Gary Wright-Dreamweaver
BOC-Godzilla

Have you ever heard "I just can't get it out of my head" by ELO?

That could cause MAJOR problems.

you reminded me of Blinded By the Light by ELO.
Cream-White Room
Hendrix-Voodoo Child
Queen-Under Pressure
Human League-Dont You Want me Baby
Duran Duran- Rio (that video was hot) :D
Pink Floyd-Have a Cigar

Haven't heard their version. Heard Bruce's and Manfred Mann's.

Maybe I'm thinking of another song.

right now it's that stupid song some rapper wrote about his shoes, talking about give me two pairs, I need two pairs...so I can get to stompin' in my air force ones.

I guess if you can make millions off a song about some shoes, more power to ya.

Ive never heard that song but I have two pair of AF1's......awsome sneaks....This black guy I work with has every color.....maybe ten pair.

Its a plain white shoe with very little colored trim.....When I find a decent pair of plain high tops like thhat I buy em.

A few songs get stuck in my head, but only a couple ever got deep into the heart of my central noggin. I managed to chase them out with some Merzbow and I don't want to think about it too much in case they slip back in.

Damn too late.

Kylie - Lucky (the version about rubber ducks)
Abba - Take A Chance On Me

shit, no you are right. I get those 2 bands confused.
Other songs that find their way into my memory bank are
Don Henley-Dirty Laundry
Blister in the Sun
What If God Was one of Us

Fire Woman - the Cult
Sexy Sadie - the Beatles
Hey Jude - the Beatles
Head Like A Hole - Nine Inch Nails
Can't Explain - The Who

Funny you mentioned songs that get stuck in your head....Today, I had "Ooops I did it again" by Britney Spears playing over and over in my head like a broken record...lol

that and the theme song to Barney Miller and Taxi

That damn ToysRUs commercial years ago where the guy was brushing his teeth and singing..."I don't wanna grow up cuz I'm a ToysRUs kid...."

My co-worker's cell phone plays "My Favorite Things."

Every single day I find myself singing, "Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens... bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens..." etc. without even thinking about it.

Another song that seems to keep popping into my head at the strangest times is, "Who's Afraid of the Big, Bad Wolf?"

I'm a little teapot short and stout.
Here is my handle.
Here is my spout.

I have a version of Fur Elise that goes:

"no-no-no-no-no-no-no
no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no
yes-yes
no-no-no-no-no-no-no....."

Beats "Along the Zuider Zee"

Riff,

I'll see your Rockford Files and raise you one "Feelings, whoa - oh oh feelings"

Don't make me pull out the big guns.
:)

OK-

"I want to hold you till we die
Till we both break down and cry
I want to hold you
Till the fear in me subsides...."

"if you want my money
and ya think I'm sexy...."
