Or, as I'd like to call it, Form-ish Poetry.
It's liberating really. You do have to follow a certain structure, but you can make up a new one as you go along. Meter is paramount, but follows an entire alien logic if you're used to think in iambs and stuff. Rhyme is more in the hands (or lips) of the performer than you, and content can steer off in silly directions, and still make sense in the light of the musical backdrop and the performance.
Anyone writes it? Any thoughts on it that sounds less reefer influenced than mine?
Or is it considered a lesser form of art for you poetizers?
