A song like this would not see the light of day in today's recording industry for multiple reasons.

First off, it is a woman praises a male and expressing admiration for him. Secondly, it doesn't promote lesbianism, female bisexuality, or female man-rejection. Third, it is not filthy or vulgar. Fourth, doesn't bash men or make men out to be enemies of women. Fifth, its a happy, positive tune that makes people feel good.

The #1 reason it wouldn't make it today is because it sucks. Get a life retard ruse.

bwahahaha

You're one miserable motherfucker living in this new world, ain'tcha, Renny? :D

It hasn't been delineated yet.

God help us all.

If anyone wants to live in the past, it is incredibly easy to do so.

You won't get far with being functional in the here and now and it's likely you won't live long enough to stew in your misery, but the options are there. Just get a stack of old records, a few cartons of beef jerky, some gallon jugs of spring water and duct tape some black tarp over your windows.

There. Your private universe is all set for about a month. Just pray your plumbing and electricity doesn't fritz out.

It's not about that really.
But, once more, you speak from solid conviction in some underlying assumptions, which may not be as... assumed.

It's more about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiCFfDToc6Q

But, i know that, I will get nowhere with this.

Even in the 1940's and 1950's, there weren't many pop songs featuring women praising men, either as a gender or specific men mentioned by name. But there were many songs in which men sang of their admiration for a woman.

Ever heard wartime songs? Movies? Men got praised in many different forms, dipshit.

I was road tripping with a girlfriend of mine a few months ago and after listening to a certain song we started talking about how the greatest love songs are from men to women. Of course there are some great love songs by women for men, but not as many.

Anyways, I love you guys.

I was referring to women singing about men as love or lust objects, not as war heroes. The only two I can think of were "Charley My Boy" and a rock song from 1957 named "Daddio." There may be others.

Ok I must say, that I believed - as i still do - that the OP misunderstands the song he posted.

In my opinion many singers today wouldn't make a ripple if they weren't vulgar and without the digital corrections made in the studio. Example: New Years malfunction of performance by, I think, Beyoncé. Whatever happened to appreciation of a pure voice or musical talent? I have heard from friends in the Nashville music scene vinyl is once again being used along with real musicians. Imagine that!
As for the song which kicked off this thread: it is a cute video and sweet sentiment. I'm glad I grew up during the days of GOOD music and good performers.
Go ahead and blast me, I'm sure it will happen and I'm willing to stand by my statement.

It wasn't but your poutrage is duly noted.
