Do people actually go back and read what they missed before they post a word?
I'll admit that it piqued my interest. I thought it was a clever idea, but after I read a page or so, I back-clicked. I have a hard enough time catching up on the threads that have complete sentences.

that thread is too hard to keep up with its either everyone posting at once or noone at all!

The neat thing about that thread, is that only the last post is relevant. I sometimes will go back a few posts to see "how in the hell did it get from 'sex' to 'horsepower' so quickly?" Most of the time, I just click the last post arrow and see what the new word is.
