When I left for work this morning it was warm, I felt another late summer scorcher coming on. When I was out for my late break the temperature had dropped considerably and there was a heavy wind...the skys were darkening it was intense...

I have now left work the sun has just set and there is something in the air...something wicked. The wind is whipping, the trees crying, just a hint of rain, the sky is a furious shade of charcoal. it makes my skin prickle each time the wind blows. The smell is indescribable. My cats are very aware of the wind and the sounds. They are being very alert and talkative....

Do you ever just feel something in the air?

Occasionally, although normally what I feel in the air is a palpable malevolence waiting for me.

Wow, this gives me the creeps!

What unnerves me is when theres this yellow/green cast to the sky, and everything looks different. Yikes!

Apparently its going to storm.....better pull those covers over your head. :)

Something wicked this way comes....

Yes I often sense it. But I revel in dark skies and lightning. The brief lashing storm followed by silence. And sun shining against a blackened sky on the opposite horizon as the storm passes, west to east, and moves off over the Inland Sea.

i know what you mean.this was one of the windiest days i've ever been in. it blew so hard here it was knocking people over...no exxageration. It almost knocked me over...and I am not an easy person to get out of the way.

This happened in the parking lot at school. Thankfully I actually had someone to grab onto. Good excuse to feel him up.

I watched a petite woman get knocked into a car with one gust.

Hello my friend!

No pity required, lovely lady. But I am required to shamelessly flirt with Caly when I see her post.

Ah an' I be lovin' win yah do now.

One day a couple years ago while walking home from school, I had my coat tied around my waist because it was pretty warm and I was beginning to sweat a little bit. Then with one gush of wind, I shit you not when I say this, but the tempture must have dropped 20 or more degree's. I was freaking cold and had to put on my coat for the rest of the day. Now THAT was weird.

That is what it was like, just one moment the wind came in and brought Autumn with it.

Maybe it means you'll be meeting Stephen King sometime soon?

OK...but save Samhain for me, darlin' gurl. We Celts need our naked by the bonfire holidays. ;)

Hmm... I can't remember if weatehr control is part of Cthulhu's portfolio or not. But since he's the most powerful of the great Old One's, I suppose it woulnd't be beyond him.

Something wicked in the air is probably just litter box odors & dried cat hair/dander/saliva....well now that you mention it...;)
