I can't entirely disagree with that. I find that 'style' offensive. Same with the Sikh, Hindu and the Jewish beanie. I could say the same for Nun's habits but that's almost a work uniform, so I can tolerate it.
I despise religiously oriented clothing in general.
Another group that stands out is the Pentacostal women.
Somehow, in a way I can't entirely explain, I'm less annoyed by the Amish.
I think part of the rage over Islamic dress is that they treat women like dirt and the style is more tied to the more hardline, extremist end of their spectrum.
