I just saw a CD I have sell on ebay for almost $60. :eek:

It's Michelle Branch, Broken Bracelet. It was her first CD, before she signed with a major label. Apparently it's quite rare.

Do that many people really spend $50 or $60 on a CD that's only a few years old? Well, obviously somebody did but it it all that common? And I don't mean old vinyl, I know they go for a lot more than that.

Wouldn't it be easier to just rip the MP3s off the web somewhere?
 
Everytime I see things like this I think I outa get out there and find out the prices for some of the things I have in storage...

I know. I wonder if any of the rest of the shitty CDs I've bought over the years are worth anything?

No... knowing my taste in music, probablly not. :rolleyes:
 
For something that recent and mass-produced, no - can't see paying that kind of money.

A book from the 1800's, now ... ;)

i bought a book on Andersonville (confederate prison camp) that was written by one of the prisoners and published just after the Civil War. An original copy. $15

Made a good Christmas present.
