Click Here to take this Fun quiz!

I found this music quiz in hard copy on the counter in the mailroom where I work. It looks like a real scream!

Because I'm curious, please go take the quiz, then come back and post your scores - this should be fun!

Esclava :rose:

 I got 38, but some of them if they'd posted more I'd have gotten it. Like '__________ let it all out'. And then their was 'I wish that I had Jessie' girl' I'd have gotten it, but I spelled it Jesse.

Fun quiz, though.

85.7.....I think thats horrifically lame on my part...I wasn't even born until '87 haha

oh well, I'm a nerd.

I have a very good excuse, despite being born in 1978. The towns I lived in were small and southern. Believe me, almost no one was listening to rock. Occasionally I'd be allowed to go over to a friends house who had MTV (*gasp*) and I'd hear something. Or someone would come to school and sing something that Bon Jovi had done, but when I moved to the west coast (when I was 10) I'd never heard of any of the 80's bands, and that was 1988. Well that's not true, I knew about Madonna, Tiffany, and Bon Jovi. But I'd never heard of AC/DC or Aerosmith, or Def Leopard. Believe me, it was a HUGE culture shock. It's only since marrying K that I've started listening to 80's music.

And that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

sending unsuspecting people to a porn board? NICE haha

You did see my sig line didn't you? I wear nice on the sleave but I'm evil . . . muhahaha.

And I didn't just send them to a porn board, I sent them to a BDSM porn board. LOL Bet that person will be more careful about where they click.

My mother (the recovering drug addict) has never been to a concert - she was always worried that everyone was doing lots of drugs at them. I never said she makes sense. Plus, when my dad was a like 10 he and his dad were at that Roling Stones concert where someone got shot by Hell's Angel's, and my mother is DETERMINED that that kind of thing happens at all concerts. When I was 12 and New Kids on the Block were really popular, my grandpa offered to get me tickets and she wouldn't let me go, cause it wasn't safe. People might be doing pot and carrying weapons. NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK!

Heck, where we were living I got a lot of grief for listening to Madonna. I mean she had a *gasp* black man play Jesus in 'Living on a Prayer'. OH THE HORROR! Heaven forbid.

I got 6.1.

I think I even got my generation wrong.

I was born in '85 and I don't listen to any rock. The only 80's music I know is electro and symphonique electronique.

I only got a 19, regardless of being born in 1976. But then I hated the BHB's of the 80's. Mainly because my older sisters all loved them and played them to death, so I fought back with Metallica. Didn't see their stuff on there.

Oh my ... I got 52.6 ...

Got some of the more obscure answers, but some of the ones I should have known ...

I'm tired ... that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Esclava :rose:

haha your low answers are making me want to jump off a building...someone else do well so I don't feel so pathetic

Final Score: 13.25

I suck at pop culture, expecially 80s culture.

69.9, not bad for someone born in '84. it was funny, there were songs I recognized, but I just couldn't remember the lyric I wanted...oh well...69 is a fun number...does 69.9 seem kinda representative of a MMF threesome to anyone else?

She just got it cause Her parents grew up in the 80's. Hmmmmm

heeheeheeheeheeheeheeheehee

34.75

is my score,,, hmmm guess i didn't know the 80's so well after all!

Final Score 20.35. I sucked, plain and simple. Most of them I could hear the song in my head, I just couldn't get the words :(

83.65... I was born in '82. I love 80's pop but I apparently need to listen to the lyrics more!

10.175.

I suck at remembering lyrics, titles and artists. It's melodies I remember. If they have melodies.

I got 74. And I was born in 1985. I was sort of grumpybutt cause they docked me 3 times for spelling. I mean, in the video, it WAS Jessie's girl, not Jesse's girl. It was sort of weird though. I got some weirdly obscure ones like the one about Life beyond the Thunderdome and missed U2?

23. Bow down before the one you blank , you're going to get what you blank
Go buy some black leather... then bow down before the one you serve, you're going to get what you deserve.

I haven't finished it, because the way my brain works, with all those lyrics coming at me at once, I can't clear one song out of my head well enough to hear the next one. Or I can hear one part of the song, but not the line they want. Or I notice that whoever wrote the quiz messed up the part of the quote they provided slightly, making me doubt my response.

I'll get it done sometime soon and pose the results, though.

58.45, due to a wicked--and I'd say unfair--30% curve thrown on me for being a "yuppie," which is crap, since I'm the first wave of Generation X. And I have a few quibbles--like the fact that I got no credit for "coletas," when he was looking for "colitas," as an answer to a song he admits came out in 1976 anyway...
