Something for nothing - really!

I just happened across this today, and thought I'd share: Giveaway of the Day.

Every day there is a licensed software title that they give away, absolutely free for you to download. It's not a demo, or a trial period use that expires, it's the full version that you'd have to buy to get otherwise. And yep, it's free. The catch is that each title is only free for one day, and if you snooze, you lose.

For example, today's software is Sound Editor Deluxe. Previous titles have included Plato DVD to iPod Converter, Cool Record Edit Pro, Chameleon Desktop 1.3, Wondershare YouTube Downloader, etc.

They also give away free PC game software, but that only happens on the weekends, so you have a couple of days to download those each weekend. You can get those here.

Add programs to my computer? Girl, I'm fucking deleting programs. The other answer is to add another gig of RAM but that will have to wait until after tax time.
