Literotica writers often set themselves the challenge of writing something in every category. Since it's that time of year to set goals then fail spectacularly at meeting them, this is my one-shot at doing just that.

It's a writer's exercise written as a bit of fun, and "inspired" (I use the term loosely) by SimonDoom's comment somewhere that it's one of his aspirations too. So this is shameless self promotion and a challenge to others to catch up :).

I sampled. It was fun.

I thought I'd have written the non-English entry in pig latin.

Didn't think of that - I used Spanish because I had a Tumblr fan who wrote to me in Spanish, and it got embedded in the old brain.

That could be fun to combine with Ogg's 50-word stories.

That was funny and ambitious. It's got me thinking about trying it, although I have other things in the pipeline to finish first (Valentine's Day).

Excuses, excuses. This lil thing was whipped up in three evenings, in between two of my Madelyn chapters. Valentine's Day is a month away, you've got plenty of time :).

The contest submission start date is 7 days away, dude. That's my priority. At my current rate it's going to go down to the wire to get it in.

Plus, my Spanish is really rusty. At this rate my foreign language story isn't going to be much more than, "Hola, chico. Quieres tocar mis plumas?" dijo el penguino.

Haha, my contest attention factor = zero :).

Sounds like you've nailed the foreign language entry though! Good work.

Very clever...but now I've lost all incentive to ever write again :( Are all of our stories that trite when all the pretty words are stripped away  However, as I mentioned in my comment on the story page; Your transgressions have been reported to the higher council.

EB I love this! I read the first few but have to get ready to head to the food pantry so I'll read the rest later.

But what a cool idea!

I like the idea of trying this, but I think I'll do it as a continuous story with the same characters, in the style of a chain story that shifts suddenly in tone and content from one chapter to the next but with the same characters. The trick is in figuring out how to get through all the categories with the fewest characters possible.

You'd need at least three. Two would be related and two would not be. Two need to be male. Two need to be female. Maybe you could do the GM story, then a Trans story with one of them becoming female, then do a lesbian story. At least one needs to be older and one younger. You need some non-human character. It could go on and on.

Maybe you could set up some kind of decision matrix.

Don't forget different races, religions, amputations, tattoos, charismas, and diseases.

Maybe you could set up some kind of decision matrix.
If binary, that's called a Truth Table. If trinary or greater... I forget. But it can be setup as a conflict resolution table. Roll die to determine characteristics and outcomes. What kinks shall prevail in the next episode?

See "EB'...see what you have unleashed? It is said that out of chaos great things may come...but, may really should always include the "may not" to reflect the true sense of the meaning. The power of our stories is too often forgotten...but the balance of humanity's future may well rest in how this plays out  ...or, perhaps it may not

Hey, I set myself the easy challenge - do it first, do it fast, set the bar low enough to trip over, but not if you lift your feet. Being a competitive little bunch here, I have no doubt someone will climb the Seven Summits.

I see the mathematicians and set theorists are applying their minds. I know someone who could nail the definitive list to the door in about five minutes; although Not-Wise, being wise, has done a creditable first stab which has more logic than I applied, names being enough for me.

They applied game theory to nuclear destruction, perhaps it can be applied to erotica with more positive results?

Lol.

Some chuckle-heads with no sense of humour have one-bombed it backwards. It really has emulated Lit in all its magnificent glory and nuckle-headed stupidity, which is satire at its best!

Gee, I wonder which pastiche they didn't like?

Just as well there's a contest coming up, eh, girls and boys, so the sweeps can take out the garbage, just like a proper story.

Literotica - Microcosm. And I thought Hollywood had run out of ideas :).

Have to wonder why readers with no sense of humor might read in the Humor category. Maybe they picked it off the New list without noticing the category.

My personal theory is Loretta and Wayne cut too close to home, and the natural category instincts kicked in. Just a theory, mind, no evidence whatsoever ;).

If you're willing to include time travel (there's your SF/F box checked off) you can do it with just one character, though you'll owe some royalties to the Heinlein estate.

I like this idea. Perhaps with a Dr Who type figure, who changes gender and personas and can rendezvous with different versions of himself/her self.
Oy, you, you've got a contest entry to finish, get to it.

Attendance at AH whilst writing is procrastination, and you know it ;).
