something disturbing

While browsing the site tonight, i noticed something that bothered me. No offense to the people who wrote these stories.

I was looking for something new to read when I saw the "most read stories" section. What struck me was that the top 4 or 5 stories that get read the most often are about incest. My question is: why??? I find it disturbing that a lot of people who read the stories on this site are into incest stories, which I've always seen as something emotionally damaging (the concept of incest, I mean, not the stories). I just don't understand it. Can someone enlighten me? Sorry if I've upset anyone by this posting. Just wanted to share.

Methinks

Folks just miss being close with their families.

Or maybe only trailer parks and West Virginia can access Literotica.;)

Before launching cruise missiles.....see the smilie.

Ever wanted something you can not have?

It seems that what we *can't* have is often what we want most... Society has made it pretty damn clear that relatives are off limits, which makes it even more erotic to all whom are even slightly attracted to their sister, brother, aunt, uncle, father, mother, or cousin.

You ever seen my mom?

Ewww...

Just ewwwww

So totally in agreement with you.

The forbidden is a turn on,but lusting after a family member is just beyond me.

"My Pappy always said I'd have trouble if I dated outside of the family".
It has been already said that what is forbidden is the most desirable. It just doesn't turn MY crank.

I have nothing to add to this one....but I do have a piccy :D

incest

some people will defend incest vehemently on this site. I dont understand it. But I think this is a popular topic just for the fantasy sake. Everyone has a cousine, uncle, aunt, relitive that they wished were not related to them. At least most everyone. Fantasies whether in rl are legal or not are still just fantasies. I think this is part of the reason. Part of the answer, not the whole answer, mind you.
