I suppose that's the point. You don't know much about the other person so you can imagine doing all kinds of things. No boundaries and stuff.

I suppose it has to to with what you want from it. A quick little thrill or something deeper.

In most cases there is little about cybering that has all that much to do with "sex." Most of the time it is boring and just a little silly but there are times when it is a bit like a dance. The timing and if your lucky creativity can almost create a live action fantasy. If you are close to the person and your investing emotions into that moment with them I have found(to my great surprise) that the experience can be very intense. I think it is akin to recieving a love letter. My mind will add color to the words in the letter based on what my needs from the sender are and my own desires. Cybering with someone you have feelings for can be a unique erotic dance. If it is with a stranger or aquaintence it is little more than a quickie but as in RL not all quickies are bad.

I think it's because people are lonely. They don't have any other way to connect and interract with another person, at that moment, or in general....

It's something that never existed before the internet (obviously), how strange to think that there's actually a new way to have sex (or whatever you choose to call it).

As far as "what the hell can be so stimulating about a person you don't know?" I think a lot of people have fantasies about being with strangers (just look in the stories) and this is a relatively "safe" way to carry out that fantasy.

It's just a preference, I think...I can't say it really does anything for me, but I can understand its appeal. I'm not really into anal, but I can understand why people love it.

It is at first... when its new... the thrill of something not done before... the adventure... but it does grow old... the random part... and perhaps that's true of real life quickies as well - how many times can you pick up a stranger for a one night stand and not have it get old? Some might say that never gets old but I think, at the very least, it becomes... empty.

Cybering perhaps more so... its lost much of its appeal for me...

But with someone who one shares true feelings with... whatever medium one explores those feelings and does so honestly... that is still a wonderful connection to make.
