When even the Saudi's walk away from you, you think it would sink in that you better make the best of it. It's not like the Israeli's haven't tried... and tried....and tried.

It's just another ceasefire and it'll last until the Palestinians start shooting again....

No culture or nation has ever been able to live for long with jews within their midst. Not even the Romans, the arch assimilators who toleratedf everyone within the Roman Empire could tolerate them and eventually expelled them, as have 109 nations since. America is a curious place in that it has a love-hate relationship with these red sea pedestrians. Lets not forget that history, dudes. In the early days, Jews (Israeli's) actually bought most of that land from the owners, back before the war of independance in '48. And a lot of "Palestinains" were actually immigrants from other Arab countries who moved their due to the economic boom brought on by the Jews who moved there. Yasser Arafat, for example, was an Eqyptian. Haganah and all the rest were a reaction to attacks on Jews, and let us also not forget that Israel was attacked in 48 by every neighboring country, and a few that weren't as well. So they beat the Arabs? A classic example of "Fuck with me and Find Out."

Israel's tried time and time again to reach an accommodation with the Palestinians, but its hard to do that when the people you want to reach an accomodation with want you to roll over and die. In this case, it's tough shit, Palestinians. Do stupid things, win stupid prizes.

If you look at it from a purely practical point of view, at the end of the 68 war, the Isrraeli's should've just pushed everyone inside the new borders into Egypt (the Gaza strip) and Jordan (the West Bank) and fuck 'em all. They missed out on taking southern Lebanon too. Mistake. That would've sorted out the problem.

BUT the Israeli's were soft. They wanted to reach an accommodation with the Palestinians, and they tried. They really tried, and look what happened.....

I've got no stake in this fight, but really, the Pali's are a classic example of overplaying your hand. All the Arab countries just want them to go away now. And if they're stupid enough to keep poking a stick at the Israeli's, they'll keep on having the shit shot and bombe dout of them. I admire Jews because of their intelligence, their success, and their prosperity. Antisemites resent Jews for those reasons. They have spend their lives watching Jews get better grades, better jobs, and higher incomes. Now they fear being fired from their jobs and being replaced by better paid, more intelligent Jews who will perform their jobs faster, better, and with less effort, before being promoted to better jobs.

Civilizations need brilliant people in charge. We need all the Jews we have, and all the Jews we can attract to take well paying, satisfying positions at the top of our economy. As intelligence becomes more important to our economy the wealth and power of the Jews will increase.
