I was wondering which stories here are still really hot. Checking my old handle, I noted that Choices seems to have dropped lower on the totem pole, so...

Just out of curiosity, is Gystex still posting? I had a thread dealing with the greek goddesses I REALLY wanted to finish...

Oh, and I submitted....

A new story. It's essentially a remake of one of my old ones, but I was really unhappy with the direction that many people were taking it, and wanted a restart.

I was wondering which stories here are still really hot.

The biggest factor in popularity is frequent additions and ratings, which keep the story in the top 5 or 10 most recently modified list. If you can see it on the front page, people read it. That's why most of the old stories haven't been read much or added to, because someone has to search for them.

My top three faves:

Fun in the car with the family by TwiztidClown
Weekend In An All Girls Dorm by Imhotep
Wishful Thinking: by artican

'Weekend' seems to be in the top five for months, due to Imhotep's continual efforts at adding new threads and encouraging others to add. He just finished a 'double payback' weekend, where every thread added to 'Weekend' got two threads added to the author's stories.

No, Gystex is long gone, unfortunately. Some of his stuff I'm currently editing. Lots of stuff is up for adoption.

It's good to be back, and I hope for good this time. Bought a flash drive and everything. (Getting VERY paranoid...)

Specifically, the story that I wanted to add to was Venus Rising. I had a good thing going there, and as long as my old handle won't show up on a google, I'd love to adopt it. (Feel free to mention stories. It's the google search thing that I'm trying to avoid.)

I intend to add a bit to quiet streets as soon as I can. Right now I'm doing a copy and paste job to my flash card, so It may be a day or two. (Need to catch up with the story line.)

Weekend. Added to that one once, so I need to check on it. Probably going to have to copy the whole story and read it after...

He posted something late september this year so I'd say there is a good chance he's still around. I've gone entire years without a single post but I check the site at least 2-3 times a week.

Thread 5433 was added circa July 2002. December 2003 was the Chyoo 1 -> Chyoo 2 transition.

Hell, I remember back in the day when they had a bunch of interactive stories on literotica that anyone was free to add to. I must have added at least 20-30 threads to the jade knight or whatever it was called. One day it was just gone and Chyoo was in its place.
