"Some TLC" Story search HELP! :-)

Hi,

New member here. I'm hoping one of my fellow members can help me out in my search for a favorite old story I had.

I'm searching for an erotic story which I had on my old PC, which unfortunately now has a fried hard drive. I'm 99% sure the story was called "Some TLC" and is about an only son and his widowed mother.

The basic scenario takes place over a few days time; Mom is injured in a car accident and Son brings her home from the hospital and is taking care of her at home. One thing leads to another. It's actually the most well-written, sensitive and beautiful incest love story I ever read. I can't remember the name of the author or where I downloaded it from. (I've tried the Alt.Sex.Stories.Moderated Archive and a number of other sites, with no luck.)

If anyone who knows this story and/or has this story can help me on this, I'd really appreciate it.

would remember such an obscure story that was not even ON Lit?
Yeah, I remember it! I was pretty good, and I'm not usually into that mom/son thing. It might be on A.S.S.Incest if there was such a place.
It WAS years ago that I saw it, probably when you got it too.
I have some stories saved but a quick search didn't show it up by that name.
The name does sound familiar too, so that might be right, or close.
I'll keep checking. Did you search LIT? Maybe it's here now.

I've searched Literotica, Alt.Sex.Stories.Moderated.Archive, worked out the search engines Yahoo, Ask Jeeves and Dogpile. No luck.

I think you're right-I first read the story, oh, around four years ago, I think. I remember thinking by some of the vernacular that the writer must be a Brit, but he/she used a pen name I can't recall.

I had it on my old PC. When I got my new PC, the old one sat in a corner for about a year. When I tried to boot it, I got an error code that there's something seriously corrupted preventing it booting. I guess some 1s and 0s got out of alignment! :-(

On that old PC, besides this story, there's a few others, plus an outline and some chapter rough drafts of a novel I started to write. So...I'm going to exhaust all other options before calling Microsoft for pay-per-incident tech support. I did that once before and, while they were able to help me in that case, it was NOT cheap!

I'm pretty damn sure the title is "Some TLC" and, as I said above, the author may very well be British, although I don't remember what website I read and saved it from.

Any other ideas or suggestions?

You can try

booting from your Win 98 bootup floppy. You DO have one, don't you?
And do a "fdisk /mbr"

That might fix it. If the problem is only booting, and the disk is otherwise ok, then you can put it in a system as the second hard drive, set to slave jumpers, and you'll be able to see and save all your work.
