Last Wednesday, "My Sister Set Me Up on a Blind Date" was published and it has done far, far better than my expectations. A nice side-effect of its success has been a lot of read, votes and comments for stories that were already published. I recorded the stats of my stories the morning "My Sister Set Me Up on a Blind Date" was published. Looking at it them now, it's clear to me that readers wanting to read my other stories used score in deciding which story to check out. My low score on the first chapter of "Heather and Michael" hurt the more popular later chapters.

My stories in order of most recent number of reads, with reads / votes / comments / score then story name:
4551 / 152 / 6 / 4.69 - Cruise Doubledate With My Sister (9 pages)
3606 / 127 / 0 / 4.70 - My Day as a Pool Boy (3 pages)
3483 / 137 / 0 / 4.65 - Sister Has a Plan (4 pages)
2964 / 114 / 4 / 4.56 - Cycling Weekends with Sis (3 pages)
2352 / 81 / 1 / 4.45 - Heather and Michael Ch. 01 (2 pages)
1990 / 83 / 0 / 4.65 - Heather and Michael Ch. 02 (2 pages)
1705 / 52 / 1 / 4.07 - My Daughter Interrupts My Work (2 pages)
1472 / 75 / 0 / 4.56 - Heather and Michael Ch. 03 (2 pages)

Not sure why "Cruise" got more love than "Pool Boy". Maybe because "Pool Boy" is more recent? It was published almost a year ago and "Cruise" was published four months before it.

Now, post a story to a contest and see how the numbers go.
