Some PMs stop working

I suspected that PM tabs in the new chat interface were randomly stopping for a while put it down to people just wandering off.

But then I encountered it with people I knew who confirmed afterwards that they had not received messages even tho the tab was allowing me to send them.

This happened twice in a way I could confirm but I think it has been happening other times than that.

I think it is an aggravating factor when someone starts a PM but the other waits a while before responding.

I am running chrome (incogneto) on a OSX 10.9.5 air and chrome (incogneto) on Windows 10

This behaviour typically happens when you are disconnected and rapidly reconnected automatically. When reconnected, the lobby will automatically be rejoined and continue as before, but all other windows will appear to be unaffected, you can type messages but nothing ever gets sent or received.

The only indication this has happened is the subject line in the lobby is reprinted on the reconnect, and this is very easy to miss in a fast scroll. The solution is to reload the whole page via the browser reload button.

While disconnects for me are relatively rare, it has happened on a few occasions.
