For those in Georgia, could you wonder over to this place and give us a personal observation? I'm inclined to believe the "New Age Goofiness" theory, myself. Heck, I was one, back in the day.

Good grief, are you still in the southeast? I hope you're liking it, and found plenty to do in Charlotte while you are/were there.

No, I got home last night. I was really impressed with the town of Charlotte. I could happily move into the Fourth Ward tomorrow, assuming I could afford it. As to restaurants, Lexington's BBQ met all expectations and Alexander Michael's Tavern in the Fourth Ward may just be the best place I've eaten in the South. Highly recommended!

Alexander Michael's, yes! That was one I tried to remember before you left. I've been there every time I return to Charlotte. Makes me feel so Bohemian! ;)

It's nice, you're right. Those 4th Ward condos are popular, too. If you lived there you wouldn't have to do much driving, and on the plus side, driving in Charlotte isn't too bad. Kind of a mini version of, what is it, 5th Avenue in NYC?

In all seriousness, I wouldn't want to move back to Charlotte, but it's fun to visit. I'm happy you enjoyed yourself. Post your pics somewhere. I need a refresher on how it's changed.

I can't. I didn't take a camera and my cell phone is so old that it doesn't have one, either. Sorry.
