By the way, just for your info and amusement, I've heard that comment "...have very few friends" quite often lately. Is that a trend or is it what "they" are saying about those damned cell phones? We don't have time for real, actual friends.

Having Friends Is a Good Thing!

Having read your profile and a goodly sum of your postings, I'm surprised that you that you have few friends. Then again, I've found that the old adage "good friends are hard to find" to be very true. As I thought about it, I myself have a lot of acquaintances, many I see on a daily basis, but few that I would consider "friend". Boiling it down even further, I could probably count my "good friends" on one hand (I might have to add a finger from my other hand).

That said, I would be honored to befriend a dear lady such as yourself
