OK, I'm hooked ... I know that. I love music, and I love all the music-related threads on Lit. This one is just a variation on a theme. Starting with A and moving through to Z, I want you to name either single artists or band members, but NO BAND NAMES. Where you put a band name member, it would be nice for the rest of us if you could add the band name in brackets or a different colour afterwards so we all know who the hell it is! 
You can use either the christian name or the surname for the letter you require, just please make it obvious which it is for the next poster. Don't worry about answers beginning with Q and X and Z etc, I appreciate we will quickly run out of those. Either just put a well-known answer in that's been used before, or just move on to the next letter. Let the fun begin!
