Solitary Survivors. (OOC/Casting)

The year is 2012 and prison overcrowding in the United States has led to record occorances of inmate hostility. Prisons simply lack the capacity to keep violent offenders who pose a danger to others seperate.

A new U.S. sanctioned maximum security prison has just completed construction and is built to house 50,000 life sentance offenders in solitary cells. The prison was built with two wings to house both male and female convicts, without any risk of fraternization.

Unfortunately, the task of transporting dangerous felons out of the country has proven itself nigh on impossible using any form of commercial transportation.

The military was enlisted to move prisoners on top secret "dark flights", out of the country. Nobody without clearance even knew that these flights existed...

So nobody realized the danger when one of these flights crashed, deep within the heart of the Amazon Rain Forest.

OOC: This thread will begin after the plane crash. It will detail a group of both male and female convicts in their quest to survive the elements as well as one another, to find their way to freedom.

I need a colorful cast of inmates to round out this lovely little tale of survival. I will be playing a former British "Special Forces" vet who was convicted of espionage and disavowed by his government. My character will likely be the only one with the training and skills to survive being lost in the wilderness, the only trouble will be getting the other survivors to listen to him.

Serial Killer called: The Hunter

Derek grew up near in B.C. Canada, before coming to the states. At first his mental instability was suppressed by the hunting trips his father took him on. He has a predatory nature, was famed for hitting the 50 victim count in under a year. His weapons of choice were a bow and hunting knife.

He only killed adult males with some combat experience. The more skill the guy had the more appeal as the challenge was greater. He was capture when he attempted to kill olympic martial artist Dwain Holden, whose bodyguards managed to subdue the hunter.

Derek is a charming, calm, young man, who many believe was falsely accused. He has some of the symptoms of sociopathy though his mental defect more closely resembles schizophrenia.

Marliegh's father had been a professional assassin, and he'd taught his daughter everything he knew before his death. Before she'd killed him. He had taught her everything she needed to know, and they had become competitors. She was twice as proficient and she kept it clean. Easy. After a few years of solo work Marliegh had come back to the United States by the request of an old client. But she didn't make it out of the country, and she was caught and tried for murder. The authorities knew that she was a professional hitwoman, but they had no substantial evidence. Marliegh was confident that she'd be able to steal away, until they'd stuck her on that godforsaken plane that was headed to a top security joint that she was sure to be stuck in until she withered up and shriveled away. She wasn't surprised when the plane went down. She didn't consider herself a criminal, but she knew that the others on board with her were probably just as cold. She was just more manipulative and well calculated. Her methods were systematic and precise. She could seduce a man to his knees, and she could walk by him months later and he wouldn't see her or recognize her. She was ruthless and brutal.

Mila Rhoswell had spent most of her life around the drug community. Her father was a powerful drug lord, but he was untouchable, shipping Crystal Meth out of Germany by the kilos. Growing up in his shadow, Mila learned to be cruel and cunning, ruthless and how to run in the drug rings and earn respect. And so she did.

Her father was murdered in their home when Mila was 18, and his killer was never found. While his empire went to the next in his command, Mila had been moving pawns in the game for years prior to her father's death and when he was finally gone, she moved into a position of considerable power.

She moved to the US, changed her name to Mila Rhoswell(her birth name is still unknown), and took on another identity. She ran part of the massive meth trafficking ring from the United States, selling people the white poison and pumping more and more into the states by the day. Unfortunately... the drug business has never been able to stand entirely on it's own. As if bringing massive amounts of illegal substances into the states wasn't a big enough crime, it was kept in check by a list of others... kidnapping, theft, rape, the illegal slave business, and even murder.

Of all of these things that could easily be believed of a drug trafficker, the only proven crimes Mila was convicted of were Kidnapping and Trafficking. The other crimes were only speculated and while many believed her guilty of them, no proof was ever found, nor enough evidence to raise reasonable belief.

It wasn't long after she was sentenced that this new prison was completed and they decided to lock her away with the rest of the world's worst, believing it necessary. Just because she wasn't convicted of murder and rape and the like, doesn't mean she didn't do it.

Mila is the quiet type, calm and collected in even the worst kinds of danger, with the most dangerous men and women the world has to offer in front of her. It's her unshakable demeanor that puts most people at unease around her, and the way her eyes always seem to flash with some hidden thought or secret.

After getting off a mission one night she was at a club in New York, once leaving through the back door she spotted a woman being attacked by three men, not thinking for asecond she intervened, telling htemto leave the woman alone they had thought they had found another little piece of fun in her. They had been wrong, in the end all three laid dead at her feet. The court sentenced her harshly due to her military training, saying she should have known when to stop.

Personality: Nigel tends to be a more reserved and softspoken individual, still holding true to old ideals of chivalry and gallant. A gentleman, in both breeding and practice, Nigel's kind exterior hides the will and skill of an artful killer.

History: Born in London shortly after the Nazi "Blitz" bombings, war was a part of Nigel's life as soon as he had it. His father was a soldier too, but the nazis got him before Nigel could meet him.

Schooled and trained solely for the purpose Nigel became the perfect soldier: a Special Operative. He was the silent strike team of one that his governmentt deployed as a last resort to prevent all out war. He had saved the lives of countless, by brutally killing a few.

Murderer, saint... where was the line anymore?

He was stationed in the United States to aid his government's ally in strategy and desert survival training. His top secret directive was to aquire information regarding plans for further action within the middle East (Iran specifically).

It had been an agent from "Homeland Security" who discovered his intentions to steal top secret information. He was imprisoned under suspicion of espionage, and something the 'yanks called a "Patriot Act" allowed them to hold him without a trial.

That was a year and a half ago. Before his government disavowed him and pronounced him dead. Now the Dpt. of Homeland Security was transfering him out of the country, to another foreign prison in the hopes of shutting him up for good.
