I think we're going to kick some European ass this month. Wie is playing great this year and Juli Inkster is like having a second captain. Great captain picks. Kerr is tough as nails. Morgan Pressel has more fire in her belly than most male golfers, and Creamer and Gulbis, who cares, I'd watch them paint their nails.

Pressel, Creamer, Gulbis... chit, mon, I'd *help* them paint their nails! :D

Inkster is a curious pick. She hasn't had a top ten finish all year. I'm sure it's a stabilizing force to have someone who has daughters older than some of these girls. Watson is ten years older and look what he did. Even though he lost it's still a great story in the history of golf.

I love these team things. They aren't playing for money but there is a lot of pride on the line.

Outside of Wie and Kim, I don't get the morning lineup. We should have very strong afternoon pairings and a rested team on Sunday though.

All square. The story of the week is the play of Wie. She is the Jeff Gordon of women's golf. So much was given to her that other girls had to work for that there was some resentment there. But her game has come together this week and no one is playing better golf. She may become the Tiger of the LPGA.

The Europeans have some gritty girls who came to play with something to prove. It will be an interesting afternoon.
