OOC: This is for everyone, anyone can join the society, they just have to complete the dares. 3 rules: No kids, no critters, no rape.
A small group of bored to tears college students come up with the idea of the Society of the Dare. To get in, they each have to perform a sexually based dare. At the first meeting, next Friday, the original players will have to complete a dare given to them by one of the other members. They will have a week to do it in. New members wanting to join later will have to complete 3 dares given by the Society Moderator.
Every friday, there will be a meeting (closes at midnight PST) to decide what the dares will be. Society Moderators decide who dares whom. (I will keep track of who is in, just email me for a current list.) The person to come up with the most creative dare will be the Society Moderator the next Friday, decided by the current SM. Society Moderators are exempt from being dared. The SM will post a list of who dares whom on Thursday. To make things easier, I will be the first SM.
If you fail to perform the dare, then you have to complete 1 dare from everyone in the society to get back in.
If you decide to enter, give a name, description, college major or employment, whatever information you think is pertinent, upon entry.
I did this in high school (it was nonsexual) and it was a lot of fun. I hope its not too confusing.
Edited for clarity:
1. This is a weekly game, to allow for real life to get in the way and creative juices to flow.
2. Dares are to be posted no later than midnight Sunday.
3. Dares are to be completed no later than midnight Thursday.
4. All times are pacific standard time cause the server is there.
5. New members must complete 3 dares to gain entrance. They are members upon completion with full daring priveledges.
6. If you fail to have a dare posted by midnight Sunday, then you must complete three dares for readmittance.
7. If you fail to complete a dare, then you must complete a dare from everyone for readmittance.
8. Remember, this is all fantasy role playing. You do not have to complete the dare in real life. You can if you want to, but it is not a requirement to play. Dare completion is a descriptive narrative of what would have happened had you completed it in real life.
9. Dares may not include children, animals, or rape.
10. If real life interferes and you will not be able to post, let us know and the readmittance rules will not be applied to you. Before you go would be nice.
Moderators
1. A new moderator is chosen each week by the current moderator based upon who gave the best dare.
2. New moderator names should be posted by Tuesday at midnight, to give the new moderator a chance to figure out what to post on Friday, PST.
3. Moderators are exempt from being dared. A week off!
4. Moderators post the list of who dares who by Friday morning, PST.
5. Moderators assign dares to incoming members from dares posted previously. Cut and paste works well if you want to go back farther than last week.
6. Moderators can choose to send email via the email button on the bottom of a post for various purposes. Be polite please, please, please.
7. Moderators can be appealed to if the dare given to you is against the 3 no dare rules. The moderator can then reassign the dare, request a new dare, or create a dare to replace the first one.
I hope this is clearer. Rules can be changed to fit the needs of the thread, by the way, if anyone has any better ideas my emailbox is always open. Obviously, some things may or may not work better than other things.
