OOC: This is a private affair betwixt Goth_Gurl2003 and mineself. But of course, any thing you'd wish to say to us can be PMed to one or the other (i.e. comments/flames/etc) and we'll share it with the other.

Gerard - Inteligant Prep. Filthy rich family, hangs out with all of the most very popular college studants. Captin of Debate team, studying pre-law because the rich like to get richer.
180lbs, strong but thin; prone to running for fun, not sport.
6'1" tall, sandy hair, no facial hair, a tendency to wear very expensive items, but in a general 'poloshirt' kinda way.
Blue eyes, and sharp as a tack.

IC:
Gerard walked along the side of the Quad, a rather large chest albeit stupid coed walking with him. She happened to be the present pretty young thing to try and latch onto his wealth, future, and good luck.

She wasn't having a good time of it though, mostly ignored as Gerard moved along. Attempts at small talk were ignored, and if she did manage to say something intelligents a couple moments of talk and he relized it was a fluke -- she was dead from the neck up. He turned the corner in an attempt to be away from the girl and ran straight into...

Katie

Katie was talking on her mobile when she bumped straight into Gerard dropping all of her school books.

"Ow! Uh...sorry."

Katie bent down to pick up her books. Her black hair cascading down her face. Her sky blue eyes looked up at him as she said smiling.

"Well, you might as well help."

Gerard

Stepping back, he looked to see what happened. It appears he had walked straight into someone.

"Oh...I'm terribly sorry.."

"Well, you might as well help."

With that he knelt down and started piling books up, taking a gander at the spines to see what she had been carrying with her. That is, until the woman that was walking with him started to talk.

"Watch where your goen girl, don't get in my man's way."

Gerard gives a sheepish smile to the girl, before turning on the girl that was following him.

"Stephanie, leave. I am not your man, and I don't wish to even be seen with you after this display. Run along."

When she hadn't moved, he added a little louder.

"Go!"

And she left. So Gerard turned back and lifted the stack of books he had made.

"Sorry bout that...here's your things."

Katie smiles as she straightens up. Well, basically the rule in this high school was, the shorter the skirt the more popular you were. Katie was no slut and she looked great no matter what. So she wasn't a cheerleading blonde bimbo. So what? That's the 'tude that got her so popular.

"Don't worry. Maybe I'll see you around sometime."

Gerard

"See me around? But I've never even seen you before. And what exactly is the name of this lady who literally bumps into my life?"

He still held a stack of her books as he turns them to read the spines. He then looks back to her.

"Well I have to at least thank you for giving me a reason to get rid of Stephanie...she was indeed getting to the nerves. Why do you have so many books, anyhow?"

Katie smiles again. She leans aginst the wall.

"I just like reading those kind of books. I love Shakespeare. I'm doing Drama, Dance and those kind of useless crappy subjects."

She laughs.

"Stephanie. Isn't she that girl who takes law and all that but is no good at it? I'm Katie Hunter. You might have heard of me."

Gerard

"Shakespeare...he's good, I've always enjoyed the theatre. Of course I dance like an autistic monkey on two left elbows, but darama is good." He grinned as he tucked the books under his arm, to carry them easier.

"Stephanie. Isn't she that girl who takes law and all that but is no good at it? I'm Katie Hunter. You might have heard of me."

"She is one and the same. Apprently good looks wont get her through law school, least not by me. And lamentably no, I've not heard of you. Are you new here Katie?"

Then he remembers himself, and offers a hand to her.

"And my name is Gerard...you might of heard of me, I'm surprised who knows me and who doesn't."

Katie nods and holds out her hand.

"I think I heard of you in a conversation but I don't remeber. I'm new around here but I know everyone and thats allright with me."

She flicks a strand of hair over her shoulder and her eyes twinkle mischeviously.

"They were all saying how CUTE this somebody is..."

Gerard

Fancying himself a gentle-man, he takes her offered hand and brushes a kiss across the back of it, then lets it go.

"I think I heard of you in a conversation but I don't remeber. I'm new around here but I know everyone and thats allright with me."

"Aha, so we could very well know one another, but we don't know if we know."

He watches her movements, as he shifts his stance to cover his looking at her whole body quickly, to take in what she was wearing.

"They were all saying how CUTE this somebody is..."

"Ahh...well you must of been talking about someone else then. Cute is not what I am...to bad, I was looken forward to getting to know you Katie."

He grinned at her, making an already obvious joke more so.

Katie

"You are cute."

Katie smiles. The bell rings for lunch.

"Well, you fancy going to lunch with me? I'm starving and I'm not one of those, 'Oh-my-thigh-is-bigger-than-the-other' type of girl so expect me to each loads."

She grins again.

Gerard

"You are cute."

"Well, thank you very much. Your not a bad looker either ya know," he flashes a smile, then hears the bell for lunch.

"Well, you fancy going to lunch with me? I'm starving and I'm not one of those, 'Oh-my-thigh-is-bigger-than-the-other' type of girl so expect me to each loads."

"Sure...but just so ya know, lots of those girls eat lots, they just don't hold it down. Not sure why they think that is attractive, but hey, I don't really care what they think."

He grins back and her and offers his left arm to her, holding her books in his right hand.

"I'll eat with ya, if'n I can escort ya there." He smiled.

Katie is quite flattered. She smiles and places her hand on his arm. Her pretty face looked up at his.

"So where are we off to. Or haven't you decided yet?"

Gerard

"Decided yet? Well where would you like to go? I'm not very picky, I was probably going to take a drive back to my place and get something to eat. But of course I'm sure to have more fun eating with you than eating alone at my joint."

He walked slowly, enjoying the feel of her hand on his arm instead of the bimbo Stephanie following him around.

"We eat where you wana eat, wherever that may be." He smiled over at her, still meandering slowly.

Katie's face brightens.

"Yeah. Lets go over to your place I wanna see it."

She decided that she liked Gerard. Cute and nice at the same time? What girl could resist?

Gerard

"Yeah. Lets go over to your place I wanna see it."

He honestly seemed a little surprised at that.

"Wow, it usually takes forever to get a girl over to my place." He laughed softly. "But of course it's just lunch, and what could be wrong with lunch? It's all left overs though..."

He said the word 'leftovers' almost like it would send her running into the woods. He turned a bit and started heading out to the parking lot.

"So where were you heading before I tried to run you over?"

Katie shrugs. She blinks innocently.

"Nowhere in particular. I just came out of the library. Then I was going to phone some people and see if they can make it over to my house for a party but it doesn't matter anymore."

They walked into the parking lot and went over to his car.

"Oh My god! That is such a great car!"

Gerard

"Oh My god! That is such a great car!"

He takes her to the passenger side of the car, opening the door for her. It was a convertable BMW, bought by his parents more for the fact that it was expensive than anything else.

"Nowhere in particular. I just came out of the library. Then I was going to phone some people and see if they can make it over to my house for a party but it doesn't matter anymore."

"Not the partying type? or just couldn't get anyone together? Why wouldn't it matter anymore?"

He shuts the door behind her, and runs around to the trunk, dropping her books off, then runs to the drivers side door and hops in himself.

"It's a bit of a drive to my place, just so ya know."

Jay slides into the car and admires the leather seats before answering Gerard.

"Well, for starters...I was planning to have a, you know sleepover kinda party but I found out that Liz couldn't come. You know, Liz. She's head of the Cheerleading squad."

She smiles leans back in her seat. Her shirt moves up about an inch, revealing a tiny bit of her stomach.

"I don't mind long journeys. Well, this time it gives me an opportunity to get to know you a bit better."

She winks. Jay runs her finger over the supple leather of her seat and asks.

"This must've cost you loads. You must be filthy rich..."

Shakes back her long sheet of black hair and looks out of the window. She sighs softly.

Gerard

"Well, for starters...I was planning to have a, you know sleepover kinda party but I found out that Liz couldn't come. You know, Liz. She's head of the Cheerleading squad."

She smiled and leaned back, revealing her stomach a bit. Gerard looks to her to respond, and his eyes land right there first.

"Yeah...I know Liz..she's dating Tony. Course in this case, she is much smarter than he is."

"I don't mind long journeys. Well, this time it gives me an opportunity to get to know you a bit better."

"Well yes, that is a good thing," he said while pulling out of the parking lot. "Do you always go for a drive when you first meet a guy?" he flashes a huge smile, "Or am I special?"

"This must've cost you loads. You must be filthy rich..."

"I don't think filthy really describes it...my dad really wants to be a Robber Baron, but that is near impossible to do now-days."

He watches her toss her air about, then look out the window.

"Something wrong?"

Jay turns to look at him. Her look almost indignent. Almost.

"Everything's fine."

Jay shrugs again.

"I don't always go for a drive. I don't always fall into bed with a guy on a first date, either. I'm not a slut."

Jay smiles to herself. 'I'm not a slut compared to the bitchy cheerleading whores (With the exception of Liz and Sharlotte). No. More like prostitutes.'.

Gerard

He blinks at her look, not sure what he had done.

"Everything's fine."

"Ahh...alright. I wont pry...just trying to make converstation." He looks almost like he'd done something wrong, not sure of where the sudden coldness had come from.

She shruged then.

"I don't always go for a drive. I don't always fall into bed with a guy on a first date, either. I'm not a slut."

"Hey...I didn't mean that!...sorry if you thought I had implied that. It wasn't my intention to cast aspersions on your reputation."

He thinks to himself as he drives towards his home, "Wow...I've never screwed up things so quickly before.."

Katie realises how it must have sounded to Gerard and says quickly.

"Sorry...I just get...nervous...."

She swore to herself. 'Great. I blew it. Just when I thought it was going really well...Shit!'. She busted her nail. 'What the hell is the matter with me today?'.

"Er...Change of subject needed here. Right...Um...how long have you lived here?"

Gerard

"Sorry...I just get...nervous...."

He laughed, trying to lower the tension in the car. "No worries, thought I had offended you tis all."

"Er...Change of subject needed here. Right...Um...how long have you lived here?"

"Six generations I believe, we've been here awhile. This is...home I guess. Where are you from? Seeing as how you said your new here."

He turned off the main drag, heading towards a large imposing gated community.

Katie

"Me? Well...I lived in England for a while...you know primary school and all that. Then, um, I lived in California then....I came here."

She smiled sadly at her broken nail. She looks up at Gerard.

"OK...Don't get the wrong idea of me but...I kinda broke my nail and..."

She tries to stop a smile from spreading across her face.

"Ow..."

She smiles, then starts to giggle.

Gerard

"Me? Well...I lived in England for a while...you know primary school and all that. Then, um, I lived in California then....I came here."

"Ahh..I've spent my summer in many places in Europe...but havn't been to England in years. Been to California, my parents got it in their head to see the Disney World. Wretched place...but I've always lived here...least that is what my driver's liscense says."

He grins at her, while she looks to her nail.

"OK...Don't get the wrong idea of me but...I kinda broke my nail and..."

He looks confused for a moment until she smiles at him, then he laughs as she says "Ow..." He laughs with her, caught in the absurdity of it all.

"Did I do it when I ran into you back in the Quad?" He grinned, then he looked serious for a moment, "You aren't going to go crazy since you broke a nail are ya?" then he smiled again.
