Fans are always getting trampled, mauled, squashed to death, shoved off of ten story high cheap seat balconies, stabbed, shot, brutalized, and clubbed.


Forget nuclear warfare, have the World Cup instead. Yeesh.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Hundreds of drunken soccer fans rampaged through Moscow after Russia's defeat in the World Cup finals, leaving one man reported dead and a trail of destruction in the worst city centre violence in a decade.

Fans angered by the 1-0 defeat by Japan torched cars, smashed shops and battled police for 90 minutes just 100 metres (yards) from the Kremlin.

Doctors said the victim died from stab wounds as mass brawls erupted on Manezh Square where some 3,000 boisterous supporters had watched the game in Japan on a giant outdoor screen.

A policeman was critically ill with stab wounds and 11 officers in total were also hurt, news agencies said. More than 100 people were hurt, with 30 taken to hospital.

So, are soccer fans completely insane or just totally nuts?

Soccer fans are insane and totally nuts but they watch soccer.

Hooligans torch, riot and kill and wouldn't recognise the finer points of soccer if they smacked them in the eye!
