Soap!

I'm making my own, and it looks like a dangerous excursion! I'm also remodelling the kitchen, so I figured it was as good a time as any to have something blow up. Does anyone else make their own soap?

Neither do I. The TV was struck by lightning and I never bothered to fix it.

What kind of soap are you making? The gylcerin kind?
Or the old fashion lye?

Hey Myst...

I make cold process (lye) soap and melt and pour (glycerine). I have some great recipes and tips.......I'll share if you like.

I don't think I'd ever make soap after watching Fight Club.

i couldn't for a while, either, but that's b/c people might have caught on to the fact that i was who they based that little bit off of.

just remember, the best fat to use in soap for humans comes from humans.
