I'm pretty new here and I already feel really comfy around this great company. So I was wondering where are the majority of people here from and if there is anyone from my country at all.

Where are you from? I'm from the United... ah you know!

Good to have you on here Marcus.

Me? Born in the far east, of Scottish parents, growing years in Switzerland, home in England. Quite a number of Brits on Lit and we do our best to outdo the Americans in sexiness. But the Canadians have the gold medal in my view. Must be all that cold weather!

Really? Canadians? I would never have guest tbh

Originally southern California, east of Los Angeles. Then variously in San Francisco and the North Bay, downtown and upstate New York, central Kansas, Guatemala and southern Mexico, and now in central California mountains. Some of my long life was suburban, some urban, some rural. Whatever works.

Well holy hell, you move a lot! Any particular reason?

Grew up in the Hudson Valley, New York. Moved out to Phoenix for a decade, then up to Oregon for a couple years. Now in Georgia on business for a couple months. I've criss crossed the country!

I miss Phoenix most. Friends, climate, ease of getting around the city. Oregon not nearly as rainy and dreary as I'd hoped it'd be.

The usual excuse: It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Realize that all those moves occupied about 50 of my 65+ years so it wasn't like I frog-hopped around the hemisphere. These last 15+ years in the central Sierra Nevadas included long sojourns in south Arizona. south Mexico, and Guatemala. My New York years were scattered. My Kansas years were thanks to the US Army..My other years... well, they just sort of happened. Life is funny that way.
