I dated a guy for a few weeks that had severe burns on his face/chest. To me, he was good looking. (Until I caught him cheating on me with a skank ho)...but he was good looking to me at the time. I never really paid attention to the burns.

If you love someone, you don't care if they are that "perfect figure/flawless skin" person. You want the person who is beautiful on the inside and so they become beautiful on the outside as well.

I can tell you that the only thing that makes flawlessness sexy to me is a hidden flaw. The madonna face with a crooked smile, the model's body with-- yes-- a laddered scar all the way up her thigh. A hooked nose. Small tits with outsized nipples. Big, un-demure clitoris. A big round belly on a butch woman. A horselaugh voice.

All the looks and physical perfection in the world does nothing if it is accompanied by attitude and/or mannerisms that suggest the good parts have been welded shut.

I like this definition. Very eloquently put.

There's certainly a dominant fantasy about "sexiness" (at least in the West) which tells us that "sexy" is only a certain of physical characteristics (youth, fitness, perfection etc). But now, amongst people who don't buy into this, there are alternative fantasies which stresses the subjectivity of the term.

What is sexy to one may be a complete turn-off for another. Despite Hollywood and erotic magazines there is no single ideal sexiness that will arouse everyone.

Culture, conditioning and personal preference have more effect on whether you think another person is "sexy" than clothing, lack of clothing, stance, attitude and words.

For example, some fetishists consider that a woman smoking is sexy. For others that would be abhorrent. Some want a woman dressed in skimpy impractical lingerie; others get aroused by plain cotton panties. Seamed fully-fashioned stockings held up by garter belts are perceived by some as sexy, while others think stockings and garters are trashy.

There is a whole cornucopia of the internet about BBW - Big Beautiful Women. Some pictured BBWs are so obese that you might wonder how they can stand up. Yet the majority of fashion models appear almost anorexic.

Breast size can influence perceived sexiness. Again there are conflicts. Some like tiny breasts. Some like pert upstanding breasts. Some like large breasts. Some like lactating breasts. Some like enormous artificially enhanced breasts that are so large that the woman is barely able to carry them.

Sexy is whatever turns you on. (And the number and range of fetishes is almost infinite)
