and as per usual i have just come in from work and need some mental stimulation after a tedious night in a bar.

however i notice that i dont recognise a few names (in the same way that a few dont recognise mine)

so i would like to meet and greet any people who are unrecogisable to me and to you.

(my god this post sounds rather sad, doesn't it) :D

Hmmm...you look familiar. Can you hum a few bars?

i can try

starting with a deep lower e

Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi,
Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri;
Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mâd,
Tros ryddid gollasant eu gwaed.

Cytgan

Gwlad, Gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad.
Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r hen iaith barhau.

Hen Gymru fynyddig, paradwys y bardd,
Pob dyffryn, pob clogwyn i'm golwg sydd hardd;
Trwy deimlad gwladgarol, mor swynol yw si
Ei nentydd, afonydd i mi.

Os treisiodd y gelyn fy ngwald tan ei droed,
Mae hen iaith y Cymry mor fyw ac erioed,
Ni luddiwyd yr awen gan erchyll law brad,
Na thelyn berseiniol fy ngwlad.

will that do or was it a tad of key :p

Afternoon Wizbit, isn't it?

Pissing down a few minutes ago but now the sun's come out.

Wind blowing fluffy white clouds across the blue sky.

Probably piss down again when I go to pick the kids up.

i thought it pissed down in royston vasey all the time regardless.

never mind the scenery your way looks almost as nice as the brekon beakon national park 40miles north of moi!:D

Sounds like you're from the same region as my mother's family - south Wales. I'm not quite sure where but my grandmother was from Myther(sp) and my Grandfather from Dowlas (sp). I still have cousins there.

Nice area.

Nice area.

merthyr + nice area are very rarely put in the same scentence.

home of hoover and also home of the worst uneployment in britain. however the scenery is gorgeous and the people are salt of the earth.

merthyr is just on the boarder of the park. great place to retire for peace and quiet.

and absolutely gorgeous for sunday walks with the dogs. fresh air instead of breathing in crap from the cities skyline
