and everyone wanted to make sure that Grandma was there also.
So, they wheeled her outside to enjoy the sunlight on what was soon to be her 100th birthday. Now, she couldn't talk very well, but she could write and would keep a notepad with her at all times.
After a short time, Grandma started to lean off to the left and the family would run to her and stuffed pillows on her right side to make sure she was stable.
Soon after that, she began leaning off to the right. They ran to her again and stuffed pillows by her side to keep her upright.
After a time, she started to lean forward, so the family tied a pillowcase around her middle to keep her seated properly.
One of the nephews happened to be late and he ran as quickly as he could to his grandmother and asked her how she was doing and if everyone was treating her well.
She looked at him and took out her notebook. When she was through, she handed him her note. It read......They won't let me fart.
