So there I was in a dark alley...

coming home from my nightly walk just now. Thinking I was feeling in the mood for company, and I see a figure along the alley walking toward me. When we got near each other I said evening and he said evening back and we went on our way, then I though... did I just let an opportunity slip by? He sounded kinda nice. Youngish fella. I wouldn't have minded, but what the heck do you say? Should I just have turned around and said "hey, do you want some company?" That's all I could come up with. Too late now of course but what could you do?

There are times when I feel the same way.. Like, I wonder if "that" was an opportunity I was just too afraid to take? I often wonder when I see someone I find attractive if that person is bi/les but I am too much of a scaredy cat to make the first move. I'm trying to change and become more outgoing and less afraid but it's a slow work in progress
