So RFK jr was right about chemicals in water and gender

The chemicals in the water, especially the contraceptives in urine, had proven to have had a detrimental effect upon amphibians who absorb the chemicals, which are not taken out of waste water (cost), through their skin.

Nat Geo has an episode about "Cocaine Sharks" which seems to show that sharks are being affected by the cocaine that's in our wastewater. Other studies have shown that birth control in wastewater is affecting and reducing marine animal populations.

What that means is that our wastewater treatment isn't getting the chems out of the water before we dump it into the ocean. Ok, we need to do better but there's another twist to this story's plot.

Some cities have "zero wastewater" systems in which treated effluent is returned to their water reservoir. Besides the yuck factor, that's the same water which has all those chems in it.

Which kind of makes me wonder about the rates of mental illness/violence/suicide in places which have zero wastewater or similar type of programs.

Good points. Contraceptives via urine are especially pernicious and not easily removed and represent a clear and present danger to amphibians which, in this case, are the metaphorical canary in the coal mine.
