Ayatollah Khamenei Doesn’t Want To Be Pen Pals With Obama
The President of the United States has had a tough week. First he watched the voters thoroughly repudiate him. Now the news is out that he’s been begging and pleading for help from the Supreme Leader of Iran, who has no time for him either.
President Barack Obama secretly wrote to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the middle of last month and described a shared interest in fighting Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria, according to people briefed on the correspondence…
The October letter marked at least the fourth time Mr. Obama has written Iran’s most powerful political and religious leader since taking office in 2009 and pledging to engage with Tehran’s Islamist government…
Mr. Khamenei never directly responded to the overtures, according to U.S. officials.
Why wouldn’t Obama keep reaching out to Khamenei? It’s not like the guy is a Republican.
This just about sums it up:
Ayatollah: Do you like me? _____ Yes _____ No _____ Maybe Barack

It’s not fair. Why doesn’t anybody like Barry anymore? It’s one thing for America to turn on him, but Iran? That’s just cold, man.
While Obama Sends Love Letters To Khamenei, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Send Lethal Aid To Taliban To Kill U.S. Troops…
Khamenei
Obama already knows this and it hasn’t stopped him from snuggling up next to Ayatollah Khamenei.
Via Free Beacon:
Iran continues to provide “calibrated lethal aide to the Taliban” in Afghanistan to help the group conduct attacks on U.S. and Western security forces operating in the country, according to a new report published by the Pentagon.
Iran’s elite military force, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has been supplying various arms to the Taliban as part of Tehran’s mission of eradicating Western forces and preventing the United States from safely establishing permanent bases in Afghanistan, according to the Pentagon’s 2014 “Progress Toward Security and Stability in Afghanistan” report, which was published in October.
The arms are being provided by Iran as a supplement to a $1 billion aid program aimed at keeping the Afghan government firmly in Tehran’s corner, according to the report.
Details of Iran’s clandestine support for the Taliban come as the Obama administration quietly continues its efforts to enlist Iran in the fight against the Islamic State (IS).
President Barack Obama secretly wrote to the Iranian Supreme Leader in mid-October to express his willingness to partner with Tehran in the fight against IS (also known as ISIS or ISIL), the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.
Source says reported letter from Obama to Ayatollah ‘f***s up everything'
President Obama reportedly penned a secret letter to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei last month discussing their shared interest in fighting the Islamic State -- a development one congressional source told Fox News "f***s up everything."
The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday that, according to people briefed on the letter, Obama wrote to Khamenei in the middle of last month and stressed that any cooperation on dealing with the Islamic State, or ISIS, was tied to Iran striking a deal over its nuclear program. The U.S., Iran and other negotiators are facing a Nov. 24 deadline for such a deal.
A senior congressional source told Fox News that there is not anything definitive as to whether the letter even exists. But the source indicated they don't doubt that it's true because "we've seen [the president] do it before, so there is [a] precedent."
According to the Journal, Obama has written to Khamenei four times now since taking office.
The congressional source told Fox News that the letter would upset the inroads they've tried to make with "the Sunni league," noting that the president should have informed Congress of this back-channel if it was in fact going on.
"This f***s up everything," the source said.
Iran's government is Shiite-led, while the Islamic State is a Sunni terror group. The source was apparently referring to efforts to rally support among Sunni-led Arab states to confront ISIS.
Republican Senators John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina issued a joint statement Thursday night saying it was "outrageous that, while the cries of moderate Syrian forces for greater U.S. assistance fall on deaf ears in the White House, President Obama is apparently urging Ayatollah Khamenei to join the fight against ISIS.
Asked about the reported letter, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest would not confirm the report.
"I'm not in a position to discuss private correspondence between the president and any world leader," he said.
However, he said the U.S. policy toward Iran "remains unchanged."
"The United States will not cooperate militarily with Iran in that effort [against ISIS]. We won't share intelligence with them," he said. "But their interests in the outcome is something that's been widely commented on ... and something that on a couple of occasions has been discussed on the sidelines of other conversations."
Letters to the Ayatollah: Obama’s ‘Keys to Paradise’
“You don’t have to be Jewish to love Levy’s” went the famous ad all over New York when I was in college.
Modern equivalent: “You don’t have to be Jewish to know the president having secret correspondence with Ayatollah Khamenei is …..”
You fill in the blank. Mine is obscene and not suitable for a family website.
I admit I didn’t much care for Barack Obama before the revelation that he had secretly written Khamenei to induce the Iranian supreme leader to sign a nuclear deal in return for U.S. help battling ISIS. Now I despise our president. He is contemptible.
Ayatollah Khamenei is a man who has been leading the massive chants of “Death to Israel” (and the Jews) literally every day since 1979. Only a true anti-Semite could attempt to make a secret deal with such a person. Indeed, someone who would want to make a deal with Khamenei has about as much respect for human rights in general as Torquemada. That person would have to be an unmitigated liar and sociopath.
And such a person is our president, so desperate for an Iran deal he will literally do or say anything, so desperate to find some salvation for his failing presidency he will put not only Israel but the whole world at risk. It’s almost like a re-upped version of Dr. Strangelove with Peter Sellers as the ayatollah — he would have been great — and Obama himself riding the bomb at the end like Slim Pickens. Bon voyage, Mitch McConnell…. Arrivederci, John Boehner….Hasta la vista, Tea Party.
Maybe Obama should go to Qom himself and anoint Khamenei’s feet at the well of Jamkaran. That way the Mahdi (Shiite messiah) will come sooner and the rest of us can be quickly exterminated in the predicted apocalypse. No more Republicans or other vermin to block the Obama agenda. The ayatollah takes no prisoners (unless he puts them in Evin Prison, where he tortures them until they’re — mostly — dead.)
Does Obama know that Khamenei was a leader of the Iranian military in their war with Iraq, when the Iranians force-marched eleven-year-old boys — holding plastic “keys to paradise” — across fields to clear them of mines in advance of their troops, killing thousands of the unwitting boys in the process? Who knows? But if Obama makes this deal with the Iranians, he better give us all plastic keys.
It’s hard to know what motivates this man, our president, but it’s not so hard to know what motivates the gaggle of Jewish Democratic politicians — you know who you are… Chuck Schumer, Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, Richard Blumenthal, Al Franken, Jerrold Nadler, Adam Schiff, etc., etc., who let him get away with that behavior and make a deal with a country that wants to eradicate Israel and then move on from there to whatever else is in sight (Yemen, these days). They are pathetic lackeys and careerists of the most slimey sort who would fit in well, as I said elsewhere, in Berlin, 1937. Not a single one of them, as far as I know, said word one when the White House branded the prime minister of Israel a “chickenshit.” That was okay with them, I guess, as long as they could keep their offices on the right floors of the Senate and House office buildings.
Oh, yes. They’re liberals. So Ayatollah Khamenei must be a poor, exploited victim of Western imperialism. Tell that to the boys with plastic keys.
Iran Slams Obama For Being “Very Friendly And Kindly” In Letters To Khamenei But Uses “Bullying Words” In Public…
Via CNS News:
Confirming reports that President Obama sent a letter to supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei relating to the nuclear talks, senior Iranian officials accused the U.S. of hypocrisy, saying the president adopted a warm and friendly tone in the secret correspondence, but a harsh one when speaking publicly.
Obama “uses bullying words against Iran when he speaks to the media, but picks up a very friendly and kindly tone when he writes a letter” to Khamenei, parliamentary speaker Ali Larijani told state-run television.
The semi-official Fars news agency said Larijani blasted the U.S.’s “hypocritical attitude in and outside the nuclear talks,” referring to multilateral negotiations that enter their final days next week ahead of a Nov. 24 deadline for a comprehensive agreement.
Confirmation that Obama recently wrote to Khamenei also came from Ali Shamkhani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SCNC), who according to state television Wednesday night said that the regime has responded in the past to such letters – although he did not say specifically whether it had done so in this case.
Shamkhani, who was speaking during a meeting of SNSC directors and experts, echoed the accusations of two-facedness, Fars and other Iranian outlets reported.
