I keep seeing names popping up here and there on threads that I have never seen before, or only started seeing recently in the past few days. Since I'm inherently lazy, I'm not going to chase you all down idividually to say "Hi, who the hell are ya?", so if you'd like, you can answer that question here.

I'll introduce myself first, to be fair. I am 33, for a little bit longer at least, married, no kids (yet- working on it though). I am an American expat living in London for about 3.5 years now, but I'm originally from Jersey, right across the rivier from NYC. When I was living in the US I was a science teacher, and that is what I still am at heart, but since I haven't gotten certified to teach here in the UK (I didn't expect we'd be here quite so long) I currently work as a manager for an organic and natural foods supermarket.

I'd been reading stories at Lit for a while before I 'joined' this past summer, when I was in the US for a few months taking care of some family business. I had a lot of time on my hands, no social or sex life, and this place filled the void pretty well. Now I can't seem to find the exit...it happens to a lot of people.

Oh, I'm also a sarcastic bitch a lot of the time, so if you notice me getting snippy, try not to take it personally, that's just my sense of humour. If you don't like it, too friggin bad.

So Hi! Who the hell are ya?

LOL shut up you two, you are making a mockery of my attempt to be sociable. Don't make me have to smack you.

Get my feet wet in college with the only vague intrest that seemed to have potential. I am actually seeking an art degree simultaniously now

I'll introduce myself too, fair is fair. I am 46, separated, two kids. I am a Jersey City expat living in Kentucky for about 15 years now, yes, right across the rivier from NYC. When I was living in New Jersey I was a draftsman, but since then I have been back to grad school, and am now a registered architect. I didn't expect I'd be here quite so long. I currently work to avoid organic and natural foods supermarkets.

I'd been reading stories at Lit for a while before I 'joined' in October 2001, when I was working in the public sector. I had a lot of time on my hands, no social or sex life, and this place filled the void pretty well. Now I can't seem to find the exit...it happens to a lot of people.

Oh, I'm also a sarcastic bastard a lot of the time, so if you notice me getting snippy, try not to take it personally, that's just my sense of humour. If you don't like it, too friggin bad.

So Hi! Nice to meetcha.

Hi. I am Chuckus.

MidWest US born and Southern Raised. I'm laid back and easy going and tend to sporadically post here on Lit when RL allows. I've been here for quite a while and intend on being here alot longer.

Stick around and post, this place is lotsa fun. Don't let the trolls bother you.

:)

I'll introduce myself, to be fair. I am 26, for a little bit longer at least, unmarried (though not single), no kids. I am an American living in New England for about 1.5 years now, but I'm originally from Florida, right across the ocean from Puerto Rico. When I was living in Florida I was very sad and unhappy, and, fortunately, that is not what I still am at heart.

I'd been reading stories at Lit for a while before I 'joined' last year, when I had just moved to a new town. I didn't have much time on my hands, but I had no social or sex life, and this place filled the void pretty well. Now I can't seem to find the exit...it happens to a lot of people.

Oh, I'm also a real angel. If my syrupy sentimentality gets on your nerves, I apologize in advance. Send me a PM or something I'll work on modifying my posts. I just want to fit in and make everyone happy. :)

Not even close to new, but...

I don't spend very much time on the General Board. I think everyone who visits the RP Board knows me, though.

I'm Quiet_Cool, Q_C for short. I'm 25, unmarried (totally single), male, 5-9, about 165 for now, brown hair and brown eyes. I've written fiction since I was nine, and started publishing here before I even checked the boards out. I think I found this place by looking for fiction on a search engine, but I'm not really sure. At any rate, I haven't left, and in fact, don't plan on going.

That suffice?

Found Lit a year ago when I had a piece of shit computer that couldn't handle any graphics at all (oh the joys of Lynx) and I needed my porn fix, found the boards and jumped in head first under the name claude_moveml, a year later got bored with the name and am now the much more happy sounding ClaudiusMaximus.

I'm 21, studying maths and computer science, in between taking time off due to craziness. When I finish next year it will have taken me 5 years to do a 3 year degree. Writing music when I can, if you like you can download some from my website, movem.l/roxr.w (the roly poly bird song) is my finest composition to date. The new stuff I'm working on is getting close though, who knows when I'll finish it though, what with all the other stuff I have to do.

Fer feck's sake, when I started this thread there were all these unfamiliar names around, and I was tryin' to be friendly and shit, and thanks to those of you who did stop in, but jeez, now it's all just us old-timerish farts hanging around this place, insulting eachother's patriotism or lack thereof (yet again). Did we scare them all away?

Hi, peachykeen (I love your name!),

A friend recommended literotica and I have been lurking, somewhat compulsively, ever since. And while I find all of this rampant intellectualism incredibly hot, I think I will steer clear of the political discussions, at least for now. Yikes.

I am 30, married, with 2 small children, and raised on the west coast. I have left my career path temporarily to be home with my children, although I have plans to go back. And if I can find the initiative and courage, I intend to submit some stories here.

As I go from shy to brazen and back again, I don't know how often I will participate, but I love to watch!;)

I'm not really new, but oh well.

I'm Basia, 20 years old not married but happely engaged. I've lived in New England all my life, but hopefully after I graduate that will change. I'm studying to be a High School Special Edcuation teacher now, and am in my Sophmore year (one more year till I start my student teaching! woohoo!). Thankfully, no kids yet. (All goes to plan, I'll have some in 3-4 years). I'm on the E-Board of my schools Anime Club. And I love Invader Zim.

I've written One story under this name, and one under Revolution (I think), but I've been wrighting since I was about nine. And, umm... I'm a chocoholic. That's it. :D
