So I was standing in the shower and...

I woke up this morning at 7:30. My phone rang once. It did not ring again. That didn't start me off well.

I got up at about 9:30, and was confronted with a clogged toilet, left by my roommate. So I grabbed the plunger and went at it. The toilet works fine now.

Then I washed up some, and went to go make breakfast. It was fine, but I burned my hand on the frying pan, and I opened the fridge door and hit my foot, and I ran into one of our REDICULOUS chairs (Everyone runs into them).

Fine. Whatever. I thought I'd go have a shower to get ready for the day. I had JUST lathered my hair when all of a sudden, I hear a bit of a bump, and then... no water. Or, rather, just a tiny trickle. No way to make it more powerful, no way to get more water. So I wrapped myself in a towel, my hair still lathery, and left the shower room, to try the sinks. Nothing in my bathroom, but the kitchen sink had some pressure. Not much, but some. So I rinsed my hair in the kitchen sink.

I had to have a sponge bath. I filled a big tupperware container with the warmest water I could get from the sink (which was pretty cold anyway), and wandered to my washroom where I bathed.

I am not impressed.

They are doing some construction on campus, nearby. I wonder if they hit a water pipe?

Fuck, I'm unimpressed.

must have been a mighty big tupperware contained. I thought you were going to say you looked down and couldn't see your feet.

Why didn't you get a few pots going and boil the water?

A few months ago when they were working on renovating apartments below me they took out the water heater for the day.. Instead of my usual shower I just ran a 1/4 tub full of regular somewhat cold water, then got three of my biggest pots, filled them and boiled water in there..

It didn't turn out to bad.. I actually ended up with hotter water than I had expected.
