Yes, their choice of illustrations is, umm... curious?
The lay-back jerk requires specialized furniture, I'm almost positive.

Well I was like.... ummm huh?

The funny thing is that onanism, illustrated by a rubber duckie, was mentioned in a text about Walt Whitman... I'll never think of "Moby Dick" the same way again.

Yes, that was Melville. And yes, people were sniggering about "Moby Dick" as soon as it was published. It got the same jokes back then and the title appears to have been deliberate. How else does one explain the "standing astride the great main mast" passage, or indeed the one about the wonderful good fellowship of squeezing sperm with one's fellow sailors? In the fondly remembered words of a wonderful woman, now lost to us: "I'm not making this up!"

God rest her.

<Laughing> I am now curious as to how often that word was used back then <grin thanks for the enlightenment (~_~)

you know how much fun I am going to have with this word?

"Excuse me, but you appear to be in an onanism moment, may I cut in line? <grin

We used to have one of those duck vibrators. Then the dog found it and bit its head into several dozen very small plastic pieces.

The worst is that we found her in her bed cuddling the decapitated remains. I really don't want to know.
