So I heard today that my unit is going to be doing a bit of a bring some chow to work thing on Friday. I thought about it and got things together.
This afternoon I pulled a pre-marinated Beef Roast out of the freezer. (Marinated in Fresh as well as Roasted Garlic, Onion and Black Pepper.) I let this defrost then tossed it into the smoker along with the needed wood chips. (Hickory and Apple if you must know.)
I will finish cooking this roast then put it in the fridge. Tomorrow evening I'll pull it out and put it on the slicer.
Each thin slice will be rolled around either a slice of Swiss or American (Blech) Cheese and pegged with a Toothpick. These will be laid out in a nice ring around two small bowls, one bowl will contain a slightly sharp Mustard and the other will contain a nice Horseradish Sauce.
I'm thinking my co-workers will enjoy this.
