i ate one slice and then it just sat there for two weeks.
my neighborhood has a lot of possums, every night one the size of a dinosaur comes onto my deck looking for handouts. "piggy possum will just love this cake" i thought to myself, so i set it out in the feeding dish.
when i got up this morning, all of the icing had been licked off and the cake was left behind. i also put out some outdated creamed herring, that was entirely gone. who knew possums were picky. and what a combination.
at least the birds aren't too particular, they've been pecking at the cake all day.
