I knew there was a reason I sleep clothed. Barely, but clothed.

took the dog for a walk this morning around 6; got back and had many things in my hands, dog leash, newspaper, keys, etc. In trying to get the door unlocked i accidentally set off the house alarm with my ADT key fob remote. Oops. Turn it off. Figure they will call me to all clear but they didn't, so get into shower, not thinking any more about it.

Standing in the shower i hear a male voice and I'm like what the fuck? Had to get out dripping wet and buck naked and come into the living room with a towel only to find a police officer standing in my doorway with his gun drawn. Shit! Least I think he had his gun drawn becasue I didn't have my glasses on and I couldn't see shit in addition to being naked.

Much embarrassed I explained the situation and had to listen to a lecture from Officer Asshole, along with a stern admonishment to lock my front door, while dripping wet and naked. I felt about nine years old.

So, that was fun.

Oh, and it took Officer Asshole 15 minutes to get here. in the even of an actual emergency I woulda been fucked. my tax dollars at work.
